I wish people would post actual descriptions of results they've gotten physically and mentally instead of treating the thread as a personal log. As much I am happy that people are succeeding, what would truly motivate people would be pages filled with great benefits that they've gotten from no fap. Last 30+ pages are just logs and people encouraging each other to keep going (which is great, but posts that talk about real benefits they've gotten would be much more encouraging/motivating).

I'm sure they are in here but I want to point out that the biggest benefit to no fap is to combat Erectile Dysfunction. At least from what I get out of the stuff I have read from Gary Wilson and his Ted Talk video, the problem with masturbation is it's link to pornography and the addiction that comes from it. The biggest idea behind no fap is to combat the porn addiction and the masturbation association with porn. Most of the other benefits are a byproduct of no-fap. I personally am not 100% convinced of some of the physical benefits that are claimed through no-fap but it's a hard thing to prove or disprove since there isn't a control group in particular to test many of these things.

Either do it because you don't want to experience ED symptoms at a young age or do it because you want to break the addiction to porn, treat any other benefit as a positive circumstance of no-fap.

The problem with this is fapping for 99% of males is always associated with porn, I bet it's pretty high with females too there are just not as many of them that admit to watching porn. If you have ever fapped without porn what do you think about? I would bet a majority of people think about that last porn scene they watched. Even though it might not be the same as watching porn and jerking we are still making the association.

If you have to get your rocks off 2 or 3 times a week get a GF or a FWB, real sex trumps masturbation every time, and if it doesn't then you have a psycological issue you need to deal with

I've already gone way past where my doc said I would. Benched 205 (goal 225) db repped 85's (goal 100's). This made me feel like this.
