I am about to get a gym membership in the next week or two so I have some questions. Stats as of right now 6'0 around 160-165 pounds like 15% BF id guess? Not really sure.
My goal is to get to around 8-9% BF but I also want to put on a lot of muscle mass so should I be in a caloric deficit or surplus?
My friend wrestles so I just started running with him about 2.5 miles a day. Should I be doing that much cardio?
Good workout to start with...SS, All pro's, or Other?
Yeah I know those questions are probably dumb but I am OCD as Phuck so I want to make sure everything I am doing is right.
Thanks Brahs!

My goal is to get to around 8-9% BF but I also want to put on a lot of muscle mass so should I be in a caloric deficit or surplus? Start with a 10-20% calorie surplus and bulk to build a solid base to cut down to later, head over to the nutrition forum and read the stickies to get your calorie/macro needs figured out.
My friend wrestles so I just started running with him about 2.5 miles a day. Should I be doing that much cardio? If you want to, cardio has various health benefits, eat/rest enough and it will not effect muscle gain.
Good workout to start with...SS, All pro's, or Other? SS for strength, AllPro's for size; though either program will get you both they each focus on different goals, choose whichever suits your desires and stick with it.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

15% at 6'0 isn't bad, I mean unless you're super worried about packing on fat and how you'll look, i'd go right into bulking.
Getripor****on is right, you can't lose weight and gain muscle, either you eat more or you eat less. However you can eat smart to minimize any unescessary fat gains. Eat lean meats and stay away from processed foods.
Cardio is fine, but do realize that your body needs rest, and that any calories burned on your run will mean that you have to eat more to make up for those loses. Cardio 20-40 minutes is fine, but only occasionly. 1-2 times a week (imo)Yes i'm aware that a bear is not a bison.
