Help me pick which 3 RBs to start out of 4
I have two RB positions and a flex so I can start 3 RBs. I had been starting LeSean McCoy, steven Ridley, and Michael Turner. Then prior to last Sundays games someone dropped Willis McGahee for some reason and I got him off waivers so now I'm trying to decide who to bench. One of my QBs is Tom Brady so I like the possibility of cashing in on both Ridley and Brady like the past week. Turner has been putting up solid points especially this past week. McCoy hasnt racked up the points so far but obviously he could have a huge game at anypoint and go on a tear. and McGahee has had 2 excellent weeks and two bad weeks but his last week point total was great.
The matchups for week 5 are:
Ridley v.s Denver
Turner v.s Washington
McCoy v.s Pitt
McGahee v.s New England
If this was last year i'd probably make sure to start McGahee because the pats could not stop the run at all but this year they have been much better
Suggestions?

I don't think you can go wrong with McCoy + any of the others. I'd do McCoy, Turner, Ridley.

Grey Knight
would sit Turner, lowest skill level of the 4. Nice back field.

badass group of RBs you have now. The easy choice is to keep going with Turner/Ridley/McCoy but i'm a pretty big fan of mcgahee and i think he'll play a strong role in the new england/denver game.
ridley's been red hot, and i would never sit mccoy. so i guess i'd sit turner if anything. good luck. at the end of the day, 'too much talent' is a nice problem to have.

McCoy no doubt. I think McGahee is a good choice. That waiver pick up was a steal. Ridley. Turner's only had two fluky good games the last eight or so weeks going back to last year.

haha guys this league i am in has been so lucky for me. i have a couple other teams but this is my best. just a random espn 8 team league. 2QB 2RB 3WR Flex league..dont know any of the other guys. in the draft i wanted a good QB so i picked Brady with the 4th pick then my next pick was 13th and somehow..lesean mccoy was still on the board..at 13 lol guy with the 12th pick picked greg jennings. then out of nowhere i noticed that mcgahee was on waivers so i claimed him and no one else must have really noticed because im at the end of the waiver list. the only place i really lack alittle is TE and my 2nd QB but it doesnt hurt me so far
QB: Brady
QB: Kolb
RB: McCoy
RB: Ridley
WR: Roddy White
WR: Steve Smith
WR: Hartline (Normally Vincent Jackson but hes in bye week)
TE: Dennis Pitta
TE: Chandler (Aaron Hernandez injured but on bench)
FLEX: Turner
Bench: Vincent Jackson
McGahee
Ryan Matthews
Amendola

Yeah 8 team leagues are tricky cause the team is pretty much stacked. In my 8 teamer I have McCoy, Charles, Forte, Cruz, Torrey Smith, Bowe, and Steve Smith. It's more of a choice of who not to start rather than who to start.

You're right. McCoy was a steal at #13. Guy with Jennings is SOL. Is this your entire roster? Its a two QB league. What is one gets hurt? Is there a back up? I would monitor Hernandez's progress. IF he's out much longer, you may want to cut him loose as he is doing no good on the bench. Vincent Jackson is scary. He is so inconsistent. He'll do more harm with his low single digit games ( 2 already this year out of 4 game) than his 3 or 4 ( out of 16) big games and he never puts two good games back to back. Watch Hartline's numbers. He may be the better choice in the long run.
Amendola may be out for the season, so you need to replace him.

nahh I didnt list D/ST: Patriots (I never draft Defense until the last couple rounds)
K: nugent
and the rest of my bench is : michael bush
kenny britt
and actually I just looked ar RBs and im gunna drop michael bush for either jackie battle or andre brown who i just realized is in FA although he didnt get many carries last week. Hernandez should be back next week if not this week so ill atleast wait to see when he gets back

In a 2 QB league, you should have a back up QB. You also have two hurt WRs, Britt and Amendola(out 6-7 weeks). Ditch one or both. Bush because he does get goal line carries is better than Brown ( who get very few touches last week with Bradshaw back) and probably even Battle, but Battle may be a good handcuff for injury prone Mathews. If Hernandez comes back this week or next, there is no reason to have three TEs.

Quality Post -->
Sit Turner. Don't buy into the fool's gold last week, Carolina's D is awful. Wouldn't be suprised to see Turner chit the bed the rest of the seaosn.

Top QBs Available: Gabbert, locker, tannehill, freeman, sanchez, weeden
Top Flex: Andre Roberts, battle, andre brown, hawkins, kerley, mike williams, donald jones
One thing i have considered is shopping one of my RBs along with some bench players to try and bring in a decent QB or TE or both but I wouldnt really want to risk trading one a way since its good having the depth at RB plus idk who id part ways with and that could come back to haunt me and i dont want to ruin the team but trying to fix whats not broken haha

You have QB bye weeks coming up in weeks 9 and 10. You need a 3rd QB and should probably get one now. Otherwise, if someone else needs a bye week QB or their player is hurt, they may grab one of these guys. Its a weak group already. Weeden may be the best of the group. He is on bye week 10 and week 9 he faces Baltimore which ordinary looks bad, but he did pass for over 300 yards against them last week and he has 2 300 yard games out of 4. Long term, he may be a better starter some weeks than Kolb. Freeman is awful but he faces Oak and SD those two weeks which are not good defenses. Gabbert is really poor, Locker is hurt, Tannehill unproven except for one week and Sanchez may be on the bench by week 10.
Cut one of your injured WRs.

After last week and today, it looks like Ridley is a play every week back.
