I loved the cobra and wanted one so bad after high school. They were going for 30-35k around here. Ive seen a few termi's with under 25k miles and stock in great shape sell for 26-28k around here for a 10yr old car, talk about holding their value.
Tired to find out what they went for new and it says 18,450 for a base model cobra. They were selling for at least 30k here, would love to find out where motor trend found them new for 18k.

Edit: 18k was MSRP, not the dealer asking price.

yeah before i found my blown 2007 GT I really wanted a termi but i would've had to drive probably a thousand miles at least to get one. Let alone spend $20k
closest thing I found was a super clean 2002 Cobra (only 320hp, not 390) for only $10k with 90k miles... was about to go get it but they sold it in a couple of days.
termi's are basically like Supra turbo's of the 90's... you pay an extra $10k for the name/rarity/coolnessMisc jawbrah appreciation crew

I drive a Camaro but appreciate American Muscle. Ford out did themselves on the improvements to the new 5.0 V8... and the GT500 that smokes the ZL1 that Chevrolet just came out with this year. But Dodge is way behind and apparently they are canceling the production of the Challengers and bring back the Baracuda's (Correct me if i'm wrong)

I don't understand the hate.
You know what though, I used to think the same things...."They're everywhere!" Or "Chicks drive them." Etc.... Then I drove one. IMO, they're one of the best sports cars a regular brah can buy. Even the v6 pumps out 305hp & 280ft lbs of torque. That's plenty of power. They handle turns great, even at high speeds & it only takes a little modding to really make it stand out. Plus, the SYNC technology. Oh & up to 30 MPG. Ballin on a budget. & The 5.0 GT has some cool touches: mean exhaust, the iconic fog lamps, & even functional heat extractors on the hood that look like fuuuarkin gills. C'mon, who could hate that?

Lol no you don't know shyt captain... actually going to back up this red...
It's 2012 and they STILL use a live real axle... son I am disappointment...
Ford is still relying on muscle car type technology of the 60s with a solid rear axle and and could even say with RWD only..
Note the car is a 3,000lb car.. which is quite heavy as well...
