That's odd I found it to be easily the most beautiful city ive ever visited , the sheer scale of the architecture and beauty of the old buildings really brought an incredible atmosphere to the place , and of course the fact that if it's been built in Paris they sure as **** put gold leaf all over it.
Really a fantastic city to visit .. However far too busy for me indeed I'd consider it far less liveable than London or other major cititesLast edited by LN11; 10-02-2012 at 04:19 AM.

Ah we are expensive yeah but not really in the realm of the more top tier tourist cities like Paris , London Amsterdam still loved all three but came back far lighter in the pockets
Amsterdam is amazing I've no clue how people could dislike it everyone is pleasant the buildings are beautiful , everyone is so relaxed , the weed is fantastic and even the hard drug dealers (everywhere ar night) are incredibly polite when offering you their wares , and even when you refuse a couple would still engage in conversation and have a laugh with you .
It really was top class***Irish Misc Crew***

Poland was amazing (Warszawa)- Even met a misc brah and partied every single night with him. Other parts of Poland can be dull besides the major cities.
Oslo, Norway is pretty dull. It is beautiful but just too calm for my taste. Even being the capital i was expecting a lot more."i barely got any testosterone, cuz ive been ****ing maddd bitches lately"

I've never really been disappointed with a place too much. The worst place on Earth is Delhi in August from a Westerner's perspective. One big slum. By slum, I don't mean it in the way people have been using it to describe Athens or parts of Italy; I mean slum as in people dying on the streets, walking around naked, barefeet over open sewage.
That said, I don't think I've ever regretted going anywhere before. I mean, I really liked parts of Poland, for instance, even if bits are pretty boring - just a change of scenery, different food and culture - plus it's dirt cheap and the girls are hot as well as easy. There's always an upside.

This stay in London for a day or so if need be but then get out and visit the real England. Lake district, cornwall/devon coast, Cotswolds, so many beautiful places in England.
Worst place for me was probably Lyon in France, was dirty, full of gypsies and angry looking people which is a shame as the city looked like it was probably beautiful once.
Having said that Nice in the south of France is one of the best places in the world, stunning!

if you want to visit australia, visit because you are interested in the landscape/scenery, not for the cities. the cities are not so great. melbourne and sydney are just smaller worse versions of nyc and LA respectively. good parts of australia are Far north queensland - tropical beaches and rainforest, also the great barrier reef. central australia - red desert and amazing scenery if you are into that. or bushland. go to new zealand if you like amazing mountain scenery (think lord of the rings). really australia is more for people who like to go out in nature and be 5 hours away from the nearest person. it's not great if you like cities/culture/etc

Gonna say new Zealand.
Also lol at op going to pattaya, a city famous for prostitution, and then complaining when he saw prostitutes. What did you expect? That's like going to the red light district in any major city and then declaring the whole country is full of whores. Makes no sense. Thailand is awesome. Best country in the world once you know where to go. And I don't me ko phi phi either. That's just full of Euro and American tossers.

Germany
Im of German heritage
I was happy as a schoolgirl to visit (wait wut)
I wanted beer and bratwurts
People were rude and unfriendly
Beer wasnt nearly as good as the US micro brews (there is a reason the US microbrews are winning all of the awards)
Cities werent clean
TV was awful..Comedy fit for a insane asylum
I thought the US citizens were arrogant...The German people put US arrogance to shame (srs). Germans still feel they are 100% right even after you prove they are wrong. Having an engineering meeting with them (when you know more than they do) is like pulling teeth. The level of pride is staggering and literally impossible to choke down for any humble human being.
I go about every six months for work and hate it everytime I go...Last edited by tbonez3858; 10-02-2012 at 05:20 AM.
