Nice quote man and thanks for the encouragement!
Thanks man but i'm fully expecting the weight loss to get harder, the first initial weight is always the easiest to lose, its when your getting closer to your goal weight that it becomes harder to shift it but i'm just as determined as day one to get there.
Thank you good sirOne man has enthusiasm for 30 minutes, another for 30 days, but it is the man who has it for 30 years who makes a success of his life.

Congrats on the weight loss, that is a fantastic achievement. I can sympathize with not feeling overly excited about it, because you still feel you have a ways to go. I have lost 60 with another 20 to go. I focus more on losing the 20 than appreciating the effort it took to lose the 60. I have also hit the "wall" at about 210-215. Haven't been able to breath through that in a couple of months. But, just keep pushing, you will get there.

I've just recently started working towards being healthy again. I have a 150 lb weight loss goal. Seeing real people get real results is so inspiring. Loosing 100 lbs may not seem like a lot when you're total is big, but it takes a dedicated person to loose that much weight. If you can put forth the work and effort to drop the first 100, no doubts you'll get your goal. Congrats!

Woah......
Do you exercise daily too? I don't understand how someone can eat 2200 calories and actually lose weight? Good luck with the last 100 lbs. It should be easy if you are only down to a 2200 calorie a day diet. Adults only need about 1900 calories a day, so you can probably safely cut out an extra 300 calories as the weight gets harder to lose. I can't eat 2200 calories a day and not gain weight unless I dance for several hours to burn the calories.
You are lucky.

Yeah I exercise daily except Sundays. I was weight training 5 days a week but just this week cut it back to a 4 day split but i still cycle for 40 mins 5 days a week. I'm now taking in 2100kcal to make up for that extra weight session day that ive cut out.
It depends how active you are, what your height is gender etc. Obviously for you at 5' 7" 2200 would be too much (unless you work out a hell of a lot) but for me it was perfect.
P.S 114lbs down as of this morningOne man has enthusiasm for 30 minutes, another for 30 days, but it is the man who has it for 30 years who makes a success of his life.

That was good going man, in the second week of december i will be 11 months cutting. ive 118 lost to date so id have to lose another 12lbs by then to match ya but i dont see that happening. 124lbs at the most!
Ive been lifting all along and not losing huge amounts of weight per week so im not too worried about loose skin.
Thanks for dropping by.One man has enthusiasm for 30 minutes, another for 30 days, but it is the man who has it for 30 years who makes a success of his life.
