When is it my turn for an easy paused 275 bench on recovery day? Strong squats man. What's your rep PR?

If this (insert whatever trivial thing that is upsetting me) is the worst thing to happen today, I'm going to have a great day.

Thanks bro and TGIF!
LOL @ William Hung
Only a rack squat PR Ricky but thanks!
I did 405x4 (3 sets) on the last Smolov intense cycle session so that's my official 4RM. I was good for 5 reps on that first set though
If I hit 410x3 next Thursday, then that'll be my 3RM PR - same as yours
Bench is always tough at a low bodyweight. You're plenty strong in squats and especially deads my friend

Great video
We both have very narrow DL stances. I think that my rack lockouts were too low after watching your start height.
Will have to play around with that. I also need to play around with some LBBS.

Nice Tuan
I see what you mean by our setups being different. I think, for me, it's more a question of my hamstrings not being "there", and not being used to a straight back. Sitting down makes sense to me for now, but I'm sure that as my lower back/hams get stronger, I'll go back to the more traditional set, like you've got.
Think I'm going to take a page from your book, also, and use the other end of my gym for rack squats. Going from pins doesn't make sense, but I think I have the right height.Proud member of Team Ogre

Thanks Gale. I get more power off the floor with a narrow stance as opposed to a shoulder width stance. Regarding rack squats, I took a side video of a warmup set and compared it to the side video of my deadlift last week and my knee angle was about the same. The bar is above my belly button but below the sternum.
I switched from HBBS to LBBS last year and have never gone back. Just feels more comfortable and stronger for me
Deadlifts never feel natural to me. They're my worst powerlift and I'm always working to get my setup better. Someday I'll have that eureka moment where I find my optimal form and then my pulls will shoot up
Gotta do the rack squats in a power rack if you can. Too much trouble to unrack from the J-hooks and then reracking## chillin at home crew

Sunday - July 28, 2013 (Day 1)
1.5 scoops Endurance intra afternoon
Afternoon session
Wide-Grip Lat Pulldown:
105x10
120x10
135x10
Barbell Bench Press: (KB w9d1)
45x20
135x5
165x3
195x3
225x3
260x1
290x1 (vid)
325x1 ties PR (vid)
330x0 FAIL (vid)
280x3 (vid)
275x3
275x3
... Finally matched my all-time PR at 325! Tried 330 after and got stuck at the low end of my sticking point. Soon...
Pull-Up:
4x9
Night session
Barbell Squat: (TM VD)
45x8
135x5
205x3
275x3
315x2
345x5
345x5
345x5 (vid)
345x5
345x5 (vid)
... Same volume weight as last week. Was a bit tired tonight so squats felt heavy. Still easy though.
Notes
* Felt strong during the bench session. 290 went up easily, so I thought it was time again to try 325. Nailed that and then I got greedy with 330 At least I got it off my chest and to my sticking point.
* The night squats were slow but not hard at all. I think my legs are still tired from TM ID and rack squats on Thursday.
Supplement Notes
The afternoon session was my first using Endurance. I used 1.5 scoops in 32 oz of cold water (size of my bottle) and the melon taste was a little too sweet. Not really a big deal since I refill the bottle whenever it gets to being half full, so after the first refill, the sweetness was diluted.
I felt good while drinking it and I still had plenty of energy by the end of the afternoon session. I didn't feel any BA tingles though; perhaps I will when I up the dose to 2 scoops for longer workouts. I'll be keeping an eye on recovery aspects throughout this log, as that's the important thing for me in using Endurance.
