Theres was dumb kunt pitbull owner down my street, and whenever he took it out for a walk it always growled and tried to go for the smaller dogs, the dumb kunt owner wasn't even strong enough to hold it back and there have been occasions where the pitbull had mauled several dogs around my street. It came for my poodle once and I straight up kicked it in the face as hard as I could, the owner had the nerve to call me all the names under the sun, got in a huge confrontation (him basically calling me an animal abuser and not apologising for his scumbag dog) Called the police and the dog was put down soon after. Complete beta owner.

Chihuahua. I've been around 100s of pit bulls. Only one I wouldn't go near because it would eat a man. My cousin has a chihuahua and I hope it dies sooner than later.

Never had a pit, but I've got a friend that has a lab/pit mix and while the dog is protective of him, he knows what's a threat and what's not. The dogs jimmies get rustled a bit when me and my friend box/wrestle, but he knows me well enough that he wouldn't hurt me.

That being said, my friends house got broken into, and the dog growled until the person made an aggressive move, in which case the dog grabbed his hand and didn't let go until my friend pulled him off. And even after that, when the cops showed up (friend and his dad subdued the burglar with the help of the dog) the dog was growling until he was in the police car.

I understand re: the damage potential from a pit attack, but I have never met a Chihuahua that wasn't a biter. Chihuahuas imo have more of an inclination to attack people than a pit in my experience.

Most fighting breeds don't attack people. There's a simple reason for this. Someone has to handle the dog.

anytime this is said, the person is making up a story, to go along with the false media that pit bulls are naturally aggressive, more prone to biting a human, attack for no reason, which all are false, end of story.

since i was a kid it was my favorite breed, i have probably encountered 100's of them in my life, met some that were dog aggressive sure, like any dog they can be if not socialized right, but to this day i have never met one that showed a tiny bit of aggression toward a person, EVER.

look at my dog, dunkin donuts, i dare you to say one day he will turn on me..

I somewhat agree op. Ugly looking dog, have had friends raise pits from birth and they still randomly attacked a neighbors kid. I might be hypocritical though because I have only ever owned German Shepherds and people say they are dangerous but idgaf. To each his own.
