Is it okay to rest for about 5-10 minutes after a warming-up before working out?

Just curious about your experiences with warming up and perhaps a little break before actually doing the workout.

Sure. I don't see a point though. It's a little long for rest between each set, but once at the beginning isn't too much of an issue given that your warmed up state remains constant.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

Don't rest! Just go straight into it! Your blood is pumping and you're sweating it's a great way to start a workout especially if your trying to cut! If your bulking light warm up...but if you rest after you warm up then you cool down so there's no point in warming up in the first place
