Today was an interesting day. I woke up at 6 am for work and I had chocolate ice cream for breakfast. Then had moar when I got home from work. Subsequently, I pooped like 4 times during my workout and my stomach would just not settle. smh.
Pressing felt really good and strong for both Greg and I. We will take it.
My bodyweight has dropped a bit and settled around 223-224 in the evening. This is because Ive discovered Chipotle and replaced my typical 1500+ calorie garbage fast food lunch with a lower calorie, slightly healthier Chipotle burrito bowl. Im starting to get somewhat of a 6er. I expect bishes to start mirin' HAM as a motha.

Awesome PR's man. What's your best 405 rep out? 405 x 6 is pretty fukin ridiculous. I can't wait to just get to 315 x 5 lol.
I like the way you set up your board pressing. So is Greg using a band to keep it in place, and you're using like a velcro thing? How exactly are you doing it? It looks pretty fukin secure.
So do you usually do ME bench on Mondays and DE bench on Thursdays? I was thinking of trying that template out. I did dynamic last Friday and didn't feel 100% recovered from it for today's ME session, so it seems like Thursday would be more ideal.

405 x 6 tied my best 405 rep out. I've hit it for 6 a few times now. If I did it fresh I think I could get 7.
Greg is using a short mini band to hold his boards. I'm using the "trunk" section of an old under armor style shirt to hold mine in place. They both work pretty well. Gotta get creative when you don't have a third guy to hold the boards. Ace tried, but he kept dropping it.
Yea I always ME on Monday and DE on Thursdays. That breaks it up nicely for me and I'm usally pretty recovered for each session.
I've known about Chipotle but I've never had it! For lunch I need to find something thats real close to my delivery route, so I can't go way out of the way. Typically id have Wendys or McDonalds or whatever, but I found a Chipotle right on my route. Score!
Update:
Seeing that I'm hovering around 223 or so, I think I'm gonna go 220 on the 2nd for my bench meet. 500+ @ 220 is important to me right now, so that's what id like to do.Last edited by dan_g_28; 01-22-2013 at 04:49 AM.

Bench only - Feb. 2nd. Push/Pull or full power with a token squat - Mar 16th.
Ive done 2 meets.
Did my first meet in Aug. 2011 maybe like 6 months after starting training for powerlifting. Went something like 450/415/600 @ 203
Did my second meet in Mar. 2012. Went 550/445/610 @ 220. The 610 deadlift was my opener and thats when my back exploded.
