I say the olympic lifts. Clean&Jerk/snatch as well as it's variations like the hang clean, jerk, hang snatch etc.
Most people lack the motor skill to do these exercises so even if you don't use very much weight you will still have the meat heads wanting to have you take them on as disciples and the women will want to give you blow jobs left and right. And the black people will be like "DAYUM, that honkeys got mad skillz yo!"

If you do them correctly that is, which most people at commercial gyms ATTEMPT to do and usually butcher it.
There has been two times where I was in awe by the badassery of what I was looking at: 1) A guy power cleaning 225 and then proceeded to sit on a bench and started overhead pressing it for reps. 2) A guy doing perfect snatches with 135.

well it is hard to do any olympic lifts in a commercial gym. I would do them but no point without a proper platform or bumpers.
I still do overhead squats, which are quite a cool exercise."Do not subordinate fundamental principles to minor details."

Olympic style 90 degree angled hand stands on the dip machine. Very good core, back, arm shoulder exercise

This is true. I was dropping the plates doing hang cleans even though they weren't bumper plates. There was a bunch of overweight Zumba bitches on the floor below(including the instructor) doing their Zumba bull**** who came stampeding upstairs to yell at me. I had to hide, lol! Was going to get trampled by elephants. Man, I hate Zumba classes.

Oly lifts without bumpers or platforms is frowned upon, but I don't think you have to have either. There will be times when you might have to dump the bar, but make due with what you have. Nothing wrong with plyo!
Push ups with renegade row at the top is an awesome exercise.

Have you even seen that outside of a powerlifting meet? We are talking raw squats here.
"8 plates means" 8 plates each side plus the weight of the bar.
Kilo set:
20kg(bar) + 16 plates @ 20kg each = 340kg = 748lbs.
Pound set:
45lbs(bar) + 16 plates @ 45lbs each = 765lbs.
Or do you mean four plates?Beginners:

Beyond novice, 5 3 1 or see above:)
Unless it is obvious to anyone who isn't blind that you lift weights, you might still benefit from a little more attention to big basic barbell exercises for enough reps:).

random, seen a guy @ 170lbs bench 405, but then during the second rep he lost balance and the weights slid off. He looked like an a** . So much for his bad a** bench press.

I'm not sure about "badass" in terms of strength & toughness, but I love doing box jumps on the highest step available at my gym. I feel pretty badass (in an athletic way, not an "I can kick your ass" way) when the usual suspects on the machines look over at me.
I'm a really positive person, I guess you could say I'm a total optometrist.
