Reading this thread and a plane flew overhead. Don't know why but Gave me goosebumps!
Love space but I got so into it it started to freak me out.
Always believed there is something out there but that special thing that gives life a conscience may just not exist elsewhere
Humans have lost touch with the stars because if light pollution. People have lost their way and not though about the real important things in life
... Apart from smashing bish's of course

The objects you look at in the sky are in current time/arenolongerthere, but your observation on them is different because of how light travels. So if something is 1 light-year away, you will be observing it 1 year in the past. 13,000,000,000 and you'll be observing it 13 billion years into the past.
So you literally could be looking at something that no longer is in its current form/died. It's pretty cool to think about that. If observers had the technology to look at earth 5 billion years into the past, they would not see it. It would take roughly another billion years until they could even observe earth.
Also, light travels at 5,878,630,000,000 miles a year, just to give you an idea of how far these objects really are.

Bullsh*t didn't design your car, your house, your air conditioner, or your iPad.
Science did, and it is science that promotes progress, not bullsh*t.

Very true. In fact if we were born later we wouldn't be able to observe anything as every galaxy in the universe would have moved so far away from us that we would think we are the only Galaxy in the Universe.
Also if this is no one of the most epic videos you have seen I will say "hee"
MUST WATCH
We are so phucking insignificant
