If a girl is married and they are not filing for a divorce and neither of them are under the assumption that there's extra play involved, then you should stay away. Agreed 100%. But people ITT are favoring the soldier situation more than the fact that she's married.

I am asking this as srs as possible. The requirements for infantry are pretty low, anyone can be a soldier. The war we're fighting is one sided and dragged out. I don't see the extra honor in signing up since anyone can do it, and we're basically bullying other countries. The "he's over there protecting you" line seems so played out, if it weren't for him someone else would be there instead doing the same. A (probably poor) comparison: it's kind of like saying if it weren't for the gas station employee accepting my payment I wouldn't be able to drive my car around, when we all know someone else would have been hired if he wasn't there.

There are also people who are smart as fuk in the military with degrees, props to them. I definitely respect all soldiers because they're doing something that I wouldn't be able to do, but I don't see how they deserve extra respect compared to anyone else contributing to society (srs) (no negs)

With that being said, you should meet up with her, record it, and send it to the guy. Not because he's a soldier but because he's married and that's what a decent human being would do.

It's more of because he's gone for extended periods of time doing something respectable. He comes home to a wife he misses dearly and thinks about everyday to find another man with her. Also, if she married him knowing he'd be gone for extended periods of time, she just fukked him over.
