Is this even possible for a female to do naturally? I know it seems like an odd ball question, but at what point do us females have a hard time adding weight naturally, and im talking BIG numbers. I would love to dumbbell bench press 100lbs but someone told me, impossible for a natural female. Just wondering your thoughts. Thanks

I wouldn't think it would be impossible, but may require a few years of training to acheive. And you would have to be eating for strength and not for looks.

I don't think you could expect the same gains at the same speed as a regular bb bench. I can't db bench for shiz but I have seen ladies on here with impressive numbers for that. No 100's yet, but I don't see why it would not be possible over (a long) time?
I got all excited to see a 205 bench but left a little disappointed :/ That is a lot of weight to handle regardless, so props to her. Whatever butt-off-the bench partial rep thing she has going on is working for her, she's a bb'er so I'm sure she could give a rat's a** if she cheated anyway, as long as she looks good doing it (which she does!)
Here is a flat bb bench that takes my breath away - 300lbs at 132... I personally notice zero carryover from a flat bench to a db, but I'd have to guess she'd be able to get a respectable db bench up as well:
I know she uses a lot of static holds, lockouts, band work for speed and other things that I am not sure would be possible with a db bench. I would have no idea what sort of training to do to raise the db bench other than just slowly progressing over time. So I'd think progress would be slow, but 100's not impossible.CSCS

Believe it or not there's a woman on here who has 105lb dumbbells. See this thread:
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=134419521
She is huge though. 6'1" and around 200lbs in that video. I doubt a normal size woman could ever get near that. What's your best lift?

Definitely possible, especially for a female PL in a higher weight class. I've gotten up to repping the 75s, much easier to get those when you're in the middle of a mega bulk. I'd love to hit the 100s someday, gimme like 3 more years to make a run at that. If you took someone with good strength who could also stay injury free I bet they could work up to that weight in 4yrs total maybe.
Current PRs:
Bench Press: 200x1
Deads: 315x1
Back Squats: 275x1

Years ago, a woman asked me to spot her on the bench press. She had 225 loaded up and she repped it 6 times (and got two additional reps with help). I was blown away. So I imagine she could have done a few reps with 100 lb dumbbells.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

I'm pretty sure this woman could do it. Although her deadlift is really what amazes me. http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/cindy-training/
