Strong everything, OP. You've got titanium in your heart, but even with those newfound superpowers how are you gonna survive in the streets after that hospital bill repos everything you own?

I verified my insurance takes care of it. The at most out of pocket expense i have left to pay (after all the pre surgery appointments i had) is about $150.00. Already filled the 500 deductible and most of the 2k i have for total out of pocket.
So for what i believe is going to be a $240,000.00 operation will only cost me $150.00. Win for me.
I will never again bitch about insurance costs by my company. Trololol.

CT has fellows. Theres quite a big difference between a resident and a fellow, as I'm sure you know. And opening, getting up to the point of cannulation, decannulating, and closing don't require an attending. You can pretty much guarantee the attending sewed the valve in or at least supervised while a senior fellow did it.
I don't gang bang, ho, I just gang bang these hoes.

holy christ get well soon OP
I'm a massive pussy when it comes to anything surgical whatsoever (terrified of doctors/dentists etc crew) to the point where I'd probably be like 'challenge accepted' if they told me I had to have this surgery done or I'd die at X age, srs. mirin your balls of steel attitude
hopefully your brain eventually phases out that ticking sound...we can hear it pretty damn clearly from that vid so I can't even imagine how insane that must be driving you. I would lose my shiit and probably legitimately go crazy in the head from that

hopefully i don't need this but I have some issues I have to get checked out. How do the tubes sound? Would they sound alpha if a girl laid her head down on your chest?
Once more into the fray. Into the last good fight I'll ever know. Live and die on this day. Live and die on this day.

The tubes dont have a sound. They get removed before you're let home. Its the titanium valve opening and closing that makes the noticeable clicking. However some patients dont have this issue so its hit or miss. Im guessing since mine was so large it just makes more noise.
Havent had my wife lay her head on my chest yet since id probably die hahah
Good luck if you do get something similar bro

Blood pressure was way different depending if you took it on my right or left side. Never even knew that until a pre op test. So it was high in my left arm and low in my right.
Hopefully in 4-6 weeks they release me from surgery which means they up me to 50 lb work load and able to drive, so id assume thats why im able to raise arms over head.
I also heard theres a few new drugs but ill wait until docs start saying theyre tried and tested. I dont want to be a beta tester and become some failed statistic. Wife would kick my ass if i ever died. Haha

to be honest - when i woke up the 1st thing i noticed was the intubator feeling like it was suffocating me (even though it was keeping me alive) - and dat feel when they ask me questions and i'm begging them to rip dat **** out via mumbling and can't move since i was strapped down.
once that was out - 2nd thing i noticed was the cathedor up my pen0r - DO NOT WANT. DO NOT EVER WANT AGAIN.
first time i saw the tubes in the pics provided - was when the nurses cleaned them about a day after i woke up and after they told me they put tubes in my body to drain fluid - and they were to stay there for a few days i gave them this face
