Dont stop now man, just think how far you have gone, not how far u have to go, 1/3/5 years from now will you be happier if you kept @ it or if u quit, even if progress is slow, progress is still progress you/me everyone can get there keep your head in the game dont stop, you must also realise january 1 is not the end, it`s just a waypoint you dont stop counting what you eat or stop training there its a marathon not a sprint. Find something that keeps you going why you are doing this, my own head is totally in this thing lately cause I have found my reason to change my ways, hope you can find yours.
Put some metal in your ears, iron in your hands, and the world will turn.

Down to 261lbs. Not quite where I wanted to be today... I had set a goal of 259 for today, but I'll take 261. Thats a loss of 5lbs this week! This week will be a little harder, but keeping the diet clean(er) and keeping my focus should help me get into the 250s for next weeks weigh in.

I started late, I am still in the early stages of my loss. I figure I only have a few weeks in the beginning to drop high numbers, then its on to the hard stuff. Unfortunately, I have yo-yo'ed my weight over the last few years and every time I start losing, I have good numbers in the first couple weeks. I won't be calling for those types of numbers every week. I'm not going to be upset if I don't hit a high number, I just set my bar high. Realistically, I expect 3-4 lbs a week, but I will try for more.

Fair enough. That sounds a lot more realistic now.

Down to 191, -4 this week. I'm taking this as a huge victory because the hurricane cost me 1 trip to the gym, and in reality even more than that (got 2 of my 3 lifting days in, but since that was thrown off I didn't do any cardio so I'd be fresh for this Monday when I get back on schedule). Kept the diet in check and that got it done though. Congrats to everyone else who had a good week

I've been traveling and I got ravenous before I could weigh in this morning. Since I'm guessing at my weight I'll assume upward - 128 lbs. Sending pm now.
Heading out now to do some runs up a steep hill.Last edited by caprica6; 11-04-2012 at 04:53 PM. Reason: this

But... surely you'll be working on girl #3 during that time?
...
A really good (artsy) cinematographer has been staying at my brother's place and he had the same idea/did 14 sets of stair climbs up that hill. He could have filmed my workout! Should have thought of that earlier. He's seen me go from fit to fat to fit again over the years... Probably would have been happy to do it, lol. Oh well. He's leaving tomorrow so I missed my chance.
