Yeah, I aint scurred though.

It means that I'll probably have a 3-4 lb drop next week. It all evens out in the end. This isn't my first time doing this. 2000 cals gets me 1.7lbs per week, without fail after everything is averaged out at the end.

I've decided to drop. My biggest reason is because I'm very close to the end of my cut, and at this point weight by itself isn't my biggest motivation anymore. I still probably have another 5-10 lbs of fat to go before I'm done cutting, but I don't want the scale to be what pushes me for this last leg. Definitely sticking to a strict diet (stricter than ever before, really) but the stress of weighing in week after week started to become demotivational. Was dropping 2-2.5lbs steadily for a long time, but that's not happening anymore since I've gotten pretty lean compared to before. (I flexed really weird earlier and could actually see a full 6-pack!) So for now I'm letting the mirror motivate me primarily until I'm ready to bulk. I'll check in with my progress periodically though & still shooting to look/feel awesome on Jan 1.

Son, I am dissappoint.
You should make it your goal in this comp to be the person with the best transformation while losing the least amount of weight. In for before/after pics. no homo.

I'm near the same point and don't view the scale as motivation. I really haven't thought of it that way in a long while. I use it as a check. Am I headed in the right direction? Yes. Even if I don't lose any weight, I'm not gaining any fat. That is all that matters at this point. The scale is a cruel master and I don't know if I'll ever remove those shackles. I'm not going back to being fat, so I'll continue weighting myself, checking the mirror. Probably won't join another competition but I'll finish this one.

I think I'm gonna drop as well. I only joined because Krete is my actual real life boyfriend (nohomo). I'm probably not very motivating for the cutting crew when I'm posting my dreamer bulk updates.

Scale keeps going down but I'm not seeing much progress in the mirror. Still feels good. Down 1.5 lbs again which is great as I made a conscious decision not to be OCD about counting calories.

It is extremely common for us to think we have way less to lose than we actually do. Personally, I am hoping to not have to get below 157/158, but who knows.
Checking in with a 0.4lb loss this week.

Rebuilding and Re-losing.
checked in this morning with a 2lb loss, putting me in the 250s..... currently at 259. This was a really tough week and I actually expected a gain this week, not a loss. With that, I am very pleased with 2lbs, at least its in the right direction. Just gotta keep plugging away.
A little more motivation for me, I want to be in the 240s by this time next month. I just found out I am going on a business trip to my hometown area.... gotta loose more weight before I see the family!
Started my journey to 200lbs..
Starting weight: 286 Current: 259 Bodyfat: Too much, estimated 35%

I'm holding on until this turns into a cut, lol. When I signed up I told Krete I was doing so because someone had to be last...
Doing it for the people.
128.4 lbs on my brother's scale. I'm traveling, I'm eating "well" and by that I mean heartily, I had chicken tortilla soup last night (high in sodium), and my weight usually spikes for a day or two right after heavy lifting days. My shorts are getting tight again but I'm enjoying the heavy leg work so fk it. Weight training again today and I'll squeeze in more cardio.

Do you got any progress pics by any chance? At 6'4, you're approaching your healthy weight real soon. Dunno if going below that is a good idea or not.

190. Down 1LB this week. Working for 2LB/week until the end of the year, so this week is a slight disappointment, but progress is progress.
Looks like a bunch of you had solid weeks, congrats all around, keep it up

Checking in after disappearing for awhile. I'm at 179.0 right now which is because I've been a lazy bastard lately. I must have missed a weigh-in at some point though since I got moved to the dead beats tab.
