There's a difference between splitting the work, doing your share etc... than running around after someone doing everything for them, I think that's more what she was getting at.

My wife does the cleaning, cooking (I grill/bbq, I like to cook too but she really likes it), etc.

When a girlfriend starts doing this it's ackward for me. She's really looking for dirt: Phone numbers with hearts about the i? condom in your pocket in a pair of pants you didn't wear with her? Perfume on your clothes? The bitch test of stuffing a pair of panties in your couch or in the back of your car? etc.

I make a lot of money and have a busy job. My SO probably will not have that level of stress/work so I'd expect her to take care of things outside her 40 hour or less job.
