Here are a few photos from a hike we did that went around Weaver's Needle in the Superstition Wilderness. We hiked 13 miles with nearly 3,000 feet of total ascent that day. The high was (only) 85 degrees that day. Despite bringing a full 100oz reservoir in my Camelbak and two additional 40oz bottles, each of us ran out of water. I shared about 2/3 of my second bottle with two of the other members of our group. (I probably wouldn't have run out otherwise, but they really needed it.)

Ok kbkb is subliminally forcing me to allow my cat to crawl out of the bag..... Well just had the 8 year anniversary of our first house... And we close on our second any minute now. No one would believe what we went through to get this house and keep our first... But here it is... Move in June to Az!

Oh we will will definitely be up to do some "stuff" ! Do you have kids? Our girls are 8&6.... Which brings us to why we are moving when we are. Letting them finish off the school year with friends. Well, poop.......I'm not liking the pin/pipe safeties that came with the new (to me) rack.....Dean at Black Widow will custom-make swing-in safeties for $230 plus shipping. I've also spoken with someone else about making a pair of swing-in safeties, he's going to get back to me with a price. I wanted to see if strap safeties would be an option. The depth in my rack is different than the R series Rogue racks, but the uprights are the same otherwise. I emailed them about custom ordering the strap length, but they can't do it. The Sorinex safeties appear to be made for 3x3 tube (mine is 2x3).Originally Posted by snova031

is the depth more or less than the Rogue? Its possible that if the straps are "too long" you can adjust with different height, but not sure how you would know for sure without ordering them and checking.Originally Posted by rlundregan
