Here is a simple formula for should I click on her profile in community activity.

First 5 feet in height is 100 pounds, 5 pounds per inch after that, +/- 5 pounds.

This formula is very effective for weeding out profiles you don't want to look at.

What's up guys it's been awhile since I posted some pics of my basement gym finishing project. Slowed way down n November and December but getting back to it.

Finally have electricity. Had an electrician run the line from the main to sub panel. I did everything else.

Can any if you identify this lat machine? I know the pics suck, but they're all I have until I pick it up in a few days.





I believe the rest of the lot contains most (if not all) of the parts to build a Hammer Strength Ground Based Jammer, and some leg press pieces. I also snagged a well-used BFS GHD and a couple Body Power plate trees.

I don't really know, but it looks like pics I have seen of older models of Parabody or TDS. That doesn't necessarily make sense if everything else is commercial quality. The pulldown might also be an older BFS model.

Well I'm bummed to make this post, but sure some of you already know. I had to withdraw from the OCT in California over the weekend. I fell on the hurdle event and ended up breaking 3 vertabrae. I broke the transverse process off all 3 of the vertabrae. It's a bummer this happened so close to the upcoming Crossfit Games competition season. I'm hopeful for a speedy recovery!

Last year, Kevin Ogar broke his back in the same competition. Hopefully these two incidents will serve OCT organizers – or any competition organizer for that matter – a lesson on safety and programming.

I'm not sure if it was the same event, but the organizers should be ashamed of themselves.

I've bought a BFS leg ext/curl bench and GHD from this same auction company and lost a pair of BFS ghd's a couple months ago, so it could be an older BFS lat, I suppose. I wanted to swing by there to check everything out before bidding, but I just didn't have the time.

I got the lat machine lot for $40, the GHD for $30, and the pair of plate trees for $6...plus tax and a 15% buyers premium. So, about $100 total. If it's decent it'll replace my Body Solid lat, and the trees will get casters and replace some cheap TSA trees I've been using for a while now.

Apparently BFS made a similar unit in the past, called a "Unilateral Power Press"



They still sell the UPP, but the current version is different...and neither one is a match for mine.

There was a dismantled leg press in one of the other lots, and I think some of those pieces are also on that pallet.

It's not a flash, but it is an LED Ring Light that was mounted to the lens of the camera.

I bought all of that crap just to get the lat machine, but the damn thing won't fit in my basement. I have the height between the joists (machine is 7'8" and i have 8'), but the frame is all welded and the extra width of the legs won't allow me to swing the top up into place.

Next house will have a taller ceiling in the basement.

You're handy when it comes to this stuff. Break the welds and make it a bolt-together.

That may be what I have to do. I already have it in the garage because I was planning on converting it from vertical to horizontal loading. It's just a few more cuts and welds, I suppose.

Kinda thinking about chopping up that Promaxima jammer-thingy and turning it into a seated row machine using the upholstery and adjusters from that POS Body Solid cam-loaded leg ext/curl machine i have in the basement.

don't cannibalize items that may have value - that's what cheapo universal gyms are for.
