i had something just like a versa climber, and i sold it. i think i just like the stepping portion . i was gonna buy another that was in black and green and looked more substantial, but it had broken pieces falling out of it (still worked, but i wasn't taking any chances). it was at that point the guy offered to sell it to me for less. uh no LOL. should have just let me get it for 20 instead of 40 . i did see a cute chic at the grocery store on the way to get the money so that made it worth it .

The facility I used to go to arranged some of their bikes to overlook the pool. For a while, until they moved them again, those were my favorite pieces of cardio equipment.
But you're right; the view from the Versaclimber wasn't very good, no matter where it was situated. As I recall, the one I used was placed next to a pillar on the ground floor.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #35

I generally find every cardio machine boring, apart from rowers. If I want cardio, then I'd rather be outside or muay thai.
Speaking of bubble butts. Sometimes you come across an onion booty- booty so good, it makes you cry...

Whats up fellas. I havent been around much, been busy with work, family, and MMA classes.
I am trying to rebuild my dumbbell collection after selling everything to a certain equipment crew member here.
Found a guy selling a set of 30s, 40s, and 55s for $200 (250lbs for $200..? I dont think so). I only needed the 55s, so I offered him $60 for that pair (just over 50 cents per pound). No response yet.
I finally finished my latest AR15 build. This thing was nicer than I expected. Got one of those nickel boron BCGs that are super slick and dont need much/any oil to function. Did the furniture in Magpul's "flat dark earth"...also known as tan.
Daniel Defense barrel, Palmetto State Armory lower.
I sighted it in on Saturday (iron sights) and was repeatedly nailing a pie plate at 250 yards after the 3rd shot. Nice accuracy. I will post some pics later once I get on the home computer.
MMA classes are going good. Doing a lot more boxing stuff, which is fun. Hope all is well for everyone.[]---[] Equipment Crew Member #14

Doing surprisingly well, thanks for asking.
I wear a brace 90% of the time I am in there, so I am sure that helps. Every now and then, I feel a little tweak, but nothing bad. There are quite a few things I struggle with/cant do without pain, particularly for BJJ, but the instructors are aware of it and just give me alternative versions or whatever.
My wife is still doing the BJJ stuff and enjoying it, so that is good.[]---[] Equipment Crew Member #14

If any of you are fans of "The Blue Ox Jerky Co." they are having a sale - Three 7oz bags for $25. I think the 7 oz bags are normally $11.25 each. I've tried the "Honey BBQ Smoked Turky" and the "Cajun BBQ Brisket." Although both were good, the "Cajun BBQ Brisket" was the best and the most tender. I just ordered 12 bags of the "Cajun BBQ Brisket."

Thanks for the heads up. I've never had Blue Ox Jerky, but I do enjoy jerky. I ordered 6 bags of various flavors, including one Cajun BBQ Brisket. I thought about ordering more of the Brisket - because I really like brisket too - but I'm not always a fan of Cajun flavors.

They were at the Arnold this year and I think for the last few years giving out samples. They had a new protein infused one that they were testing at the Arnold. It definitely wasn't the best tasting, but it wasn't bad (had a spicy kick) and a crazy amount of protein in an oz. I can't remember the actual amount of protein, but I think it was something like the protein equivalent of a chicken breast in one oz of jerky. Curious to see if it makes it to market.

Hey everyone, just bought my first power rack (the Sorinex DH) last Friday, figured this was the most appropriate thread to thank the regulars (and irregulars) here for providing all the good info over the months. I started thinking about taking up oly lifting back in November, and I've been searching for a power rack the past couple months. Thinking I might pick up the Pendlay Elite 0-90 bench, and I also still need to get some actual weights.
Speaking of the Pendlay bench, I can't seem to find any reviews of it. Can anyone speak to it? It looks solid to me, but I was informed by a customer service rep that they didn't have a weight capacity number since they never tested it to failure.
In the mean time, I'm really excited about starting in on lifting. I've cleared space in the garage for the rack, and I'm going to pick up a copy of Starting Strength to get me going.

Well boys. Left at 5am this morning and just made it home at 9 pm. Snapped a ton of pics while I was there and had a great time. Before you even ask matrix... I am not going to tell you all of the financial details. I got a bunch of really unique pieces in addition to just the normal sweet ones. Some equipment like the UCS bench below that is insanely well built. Never heard of them before but the stuff is bullet proof. A few Kaiser air compressed machines, a leg press hooked up to a computer for rehab purposes. Today was the coolest day in my entire equipment career. Let me know if you want me to post any more pictures of the facility or the field house or specific pieces.
Spent my day here
Looked like this when it started
8 non stop hours of moving with my 4 man crew and it looked like this
Snapped a pic with Gronkowski
accessory city
Warehouse 1 packed
Nothing is impossible.

What, no York stuff?
You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Hey.....did anyone notice that our favorite "hustler" has been banned??? Is it a perma or temp ban and why? Just curious and a little disappointed because I had a change of heart and was considering giving him honorary status into the crew.
