I think the weight limit is only 300-350 pounds. I use it mainly as a seat when I used my tibia machine. Now I just use my promaxima utility stool. You won't get the same style there is a newer style of the bench that is even crappier than the old one.
LOL haha
Ok it wasn't all my benches lol.
Promaxima utility stool: (doubles as box squat since I have the attachment I kept from the promaxima preacher curl bench lol)
Older style hoist folding bench:
Unknown heavy gauge flat bench I'm letting my friend matt use:
Parabody FID bench that i'm using as my main bench due to using its leg curl/ext, preacher curl, and now deltoid raise attachment for. Saves me floor space. I also have a dedicated parabody leg curl extension bench that's being stored in the meantime.
dedicated parabody leg curl/extension
middle of pic
What I believe to me an older style Icarian flat bench.
I also have an older style bodysmith by parabody ab bench, and the seat on my York seated calf and parabody adductor/abductor. I guess that's all my benches etc lol.

Hi -----
You recently purchased a strengthshop power bar from us and it has been brought to our attention that in the batch of barbells your barbell was from there is potentially an issue with the quality of steel and/or manufacturing process. This defect may in some instances cause the barbell to snap during use.
As a precaution we would ask you not to use the barbell meanwhile.
Sorry if this causes disruption to your training!
We do not essentially need to get the bar back, but can arrange collection of it if you prefer. What we would ask for is a signed (can be scanned and emailed to us) confirming thebar will not be used and will be scrapped/disposed of. Upon receipt of this letter, we are happy to issue you either a credit note to use against another bar (possibly the Texas or Okie power bars, but entirely your choice) or a full refund on the bar. And our responsibility and guarantee on the Strength Shop Power Bar ends at this point.
Many thanks and apologies again for the inconvenience this causes.
so much for the high tensile strength claim lol, might aswell get the okie now, hopefully its a straight forward transaction.
edit - they let me have the tbp for 150 extra and will recive tomorow, technically i still have the other bar too ..
got to add, strengthshop has possibly the best customer service i have ever delt with, be it on the phone, email or ********.Last edited by owasM; 10-02-2013 at 03:24 AM.

Holy crap! I wonder how this was brought to their attention. Hopefully no one was injured for them to look into this issue.
Great customer service though.[II]---[II] Equipment Crew #49 [II]---[II]

Can you meet me halfway? j/k I may end up ordering new from Pendlay... maybe the 0-90. I just can't get over the pad gap and how cheap the upholstery looks on the Pendlay bench based on the photos and videos that I've seen. Upholstery seems to be given little thought by Pendlay as well as Rogue and Sorinex. They seem to be popular benches though.

I am looking at getting a Rogue Gun Rack (probably 2 actually) and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy some type of plastic or rubber I could put on the hooks to prevent any damage to my bars. I also want to get some of this for a few strongman logs I have. I am not sure where to look online as I am not sure what exactly it is called. I was looking at rubber edging, but not sure of a reputable company.
Thanks

Will any of that work on the Rogue Gun Rack. Isn't it just a thin piece of metal with a relatively small surface area. I wan't a bar rack, but have avoided the Rogue for that very reason. I think I will eventually make my own.

This may be promising as well. I may have to buy a few different ones and see what works:

Great idea. I have the gunrack and love the look of it. I realize now that I could have probably gone with a bunch of cheaper options but I liked it. You guys are talking about my only issue with it. When I put bars back it sounds like it is just tearing them up. I think both of your solutions would work well and may tackle that this weekend. I have just been keeping my not as nice bars on there and hanging the nicer ones from my racks.
Matrix why oh why oh why do you have so many benches. My mind is fully blown. 29 benches for one home gym. I would contact guiness. This is more than likely a world record.Nothing is impossible.

I used aquarium tubing, 3/16" clear silicone, cut to length and slit lengthwise. It works like a charm and can be bought anywhere, including lowe's and home depot. I got mine at tractor supply. Here's some on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/50-Aquarium-...item337f1d9874 . The nice thing about the gun racks is that they even hold the 2" end of shorter ez curl bars. Good luck.

LOL I don't have 29 benches. like 12 or so. eventually I want to have a gym like yours but it wont' be a full time thing at least to start. more like an expanded version of my gym then go from there. so the benches are for then mainly, not for now . I've always said its for when I have more space lol. I am thinking about picking up that incline flat bodymasters from that guy near Richmond. he told me 100 then now he wants 150 but if he would take 120 or maybe a bit more I might get it. that would be 3 heavy duty benches I think that's enough, and 2 less but still great incline decline benches, and 4 great flat benches .

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

just as I start to get off my ass to find a new job, they announce that we are being acquired by the premier company in our industry.
Check that - some would say we are the premier in what we do, but the new parent company does a lot more.
I might have to stick around for a bit longer to have that name on my resume / see about switching divisions.Boomer Rep Crew #1
