It's really hard to believe that Sergio attained this kind of physique 40 years ago. Here is Sergio 2 days after the 1972 Mr. Olympia which many think he should have won instead of Arnold. Some say that this is his All-Time best condition. It's hard to argue against that after seeing these pics.

I'm not trying to instigate an argument here, but his contest condition there is what some pros offseason condition is.

The standard for conditioning was alot lower back then. in the "golden age" of bodybuilding it was about size and shape (reletive to the time), sergio was the biggest and the best for awhile. No one really brought the incredible conditioning until Zane came along (maybe Tony Pearson who I remember reading looked like Zane did before Zane did). Sergio was simply a monster

Sergio was a monster. Look at that physique! Must be something with SERG's because Olivia and Nubert has some of the greatest physiques ever. IMO obviously. 2 guys are legends

It is comical to be honest some of the heat he gets.....especially from the Arnold huggers. If you can honestly piss and moan about that physique then you are a hater....plain and simple. Greatest genetics of all-time. Sergio was also better than Arnold in my book. It's a shame he didn't have Weider all over him like Arnold did.
