another smooth drink - any kind of spiced rum and coke. not bicardi or appletons...not clear rum....spiced rum, should be brown. captain morgan special reserve and diet coke tastes like vanilla coke. its good. my wife likes it. you want an extra kick thats still good, kraken and coke.

edit: dorm room and diet friendly: get a pitcher and use the powdered crystal light, mix in 1/5 vodka and 4/5 water...adjust up or down to taste for next pitcher.

Actually recently researched this and tito's vodka seemed to be general consensus for decently priced vodka that's smooth with no real gang over the next mirning

Kirkland bought an old grey goose factory and hired on the old GG team. So it's made in a Kirkland Factory but it's an old GG with the same team, same style.

I just picked up this new Bacardi Oakheart. It's a spiced rum. Have it in Coke/Pepsi/Dr.Pepper on the rocks, it adds a more prominent caramel flavor. That stuff was really smooth, my buddy and I split a bottle one night and it was good stuff. I don't drink often because i'm not really a fan of liquor too much but spiced rums have usually been pretty reasonable in taste. I can't stand vodka or tequila.

Absolut, Russian standard, stoli, titos, svedka are all good vodkas. I try to get different brands to try the taste and it's usually one of those.

Then again, I'm Latvian so I can tolerate vodka no problem. Just don't buy any cheap **** in a handle for 9 bucks it'll make you gag
