Ive tried many vegan proteins but they're not too tasty. This one actually says its delicious.
Its pretty new so I haven't found anything online. If no one has tried it I'll probably just order some next week and post a review if anyone is interested

I'm not aware of any regular end users that have tried it, but I got myself a tub (I work for SAN).
First of all, the powder itself certainly looks different than whey. It almost looks like a lighter colored greens supplement. I think it also has a texture reminiscent of a greens supplement in water.
It mixes fabulously well in water. The vanilla is not super strong, but is present. I found it much easier to just slam it instead of trying to savor it like a snack, as it really doesn't stack up to most well-flavored whey proteins (especially since you can mix whey in milk). I don't know that I'm going to keep it in my "stack" since I have access to whey and tolerate it very well.
With that said, I think it should stack up very favorably against others like it. If someone has things that they want avoid, you can bank on RawFusion excluding it - artificial sweeteners, animal-based products, GMOs, soy, wheat, etc etc etc
I'd be very interested in how you compare RawFusion to comparable products, because I've never had any vegan proteins. However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results - Dr. John Berardi

yeah its looks really good, I cant tolerate whey protein so I'm always looking for the next best vegan protein
I usually just mix them in almond/hemp milk. Most vegan protein dont mix too well and are usually a little gritty. So I'm excited to try this. I'll link you to my review whenever I get the product in

Sorry but i have to put my opinion in here...... I recently got a tub in the mail right from SAN.
Texture when mixed...not good, kinda gritty in 16oz water.
Taste 5/10. Not for me. I also gave this to two of my coworkers...both could not not finish one serving.
Value- pretty decent price.
I really like SAN products. No knock on the company, i just dont like the product. I am actively trying to find someone around my office that likes it enough to use it....so far i'm failing.
Otherwise i'm in for support on other SAN products. The reps here also seem helpful and nice so...i really tried to like it.Last edited by stevedm; 09-18-2012 at 03:53 PM.

Good thread. I HAVE tried other plant-based proteins, and while RAWFusion isn't the best tasting I've had, it's close to it, and the profile is unmatched.
Flavor - please don't go off one try. First taste is odd, and possibly disconcerting; the second and third sort of recalibrate your expectations, and you might find you like it a lot. Also, a little blending with soy milk or other ingredients makes the taste a non-issue.~ Roast Master, Resident Coffee Warlock~

I am about 10 scoops into my first tub of this stuff. Like mentioned before, the taste first of all is pretty good for a completely vegan protein, but it also grows on you as you go through it. I will have no trouble going through 3 tubs of this stuff. I would easily rate it the best plant based protein I have come across, taste and profile wise. It smells exactly like Vanilla extract and tastes fantastic with soy/almond milk. I usually use it post workout and I have noticed far less bloating than I usually get when consuming the same amount of whey protein. Nice to be able to use plant based protein though to fill in what I don't get from my fish/chicken/turkey.

I can't drink dairy protein anymore due to allergies. On BB.COM Rawfusion is the top selling plant protein powder, and all the SAN marketing stuff sounded good: amino acid profile like Whey, natural and non-GMO, delicious taste, etc. But I was scared to try SAN Rawfusion because of all the horror stories I have heard about other plant proteins. SAN was nice enough to send me several sample packets of the Rich Chocolate flavor.
As far as taste goes I was actually pleasantly surprised. I used just plain water and it mixed up quite easily and wasn't gritty. The taste was almost like a Ice Mocha even though the flavor was supposed to be Rich Chocolate. I think the Pea protein used gives it a coffee like flavor. This is not Muscle Milk or a McDonald's Milkshake, but I would have no trouble drinking this everyday. My next step is try blending with a banana and some almond or coconut milk in the blender. Placed my order for two tubs today!
