Free to a loving home
Speaking of legs, I'm offering my calves free to a good home, they are big, muscular and have a habit of breaking zippers on boots. Iv tried loving them unconditionally and accommodating their needs but ultimately they've just become too expensive to maintain, and I worry they'll be a liability if I ever need to borrow my friends boots or skinny jeans. They will make a great addition to anyone whose big on top and is having trouble building up their bottom half. Or anyone who just has a desire to have giant calf muscles

Well my scale did not show any progress this week. It showed I am up one pound from last week.
But I know the rule of the scale (don’t fully believe in them).
I kept diet pretty good. Not my best but for sure a lot better than I had been. Hit the trails 3 times this week and just tried to keep my “stuff “ moving.
Hope all have a great weekend!

Well I figured I would post up some pics at the half way mark. "Father Time" seems to be catching up to me since it is certainly more difficult to get rid of the "spare tire" around my waist then before. It is a little embarrassing to look at my before pics and realize that I let myself get so far out of shape over the past couple years. And these 16 weeks is just the beginning of a continued transformation. I dropped about 10 lbs so far (I expected a little more) but my waist is down, clothes fit differently and co-workers are commenting about how it looks like I am losing weight-so it looks like I am on the right track.
Chest has never been a strong body part for me and have always had a tough time to build.......Plus unfortunately that seems to be the one area which seems to atrophy as men get older.......SO I am not really happy about these pics
This is a comparison shot of one of my better body parts
Seems to be a little more separation within the muscles. And less area hanging over the belt line LOL
Still got many weeks to make some changes so I will do my best. I see progress (hopefully others do too) and once again it is not where we start but where we finish that matters. And I am not gong to stop the transformation process until I see another 20-30 lbs off this body.
Keep working hard everyone.

I got all my workouts in this week, but they were nothing to write home about. I have had this nagging, irritating cough that gets much worse at night, making it difficult to sleep, so I have been dragging my ass in the gym....but better than not at all, right. I have not had much of an appetite the last few days either, making it difficult to get in my necessary bulking cals. Hopefully this week will be better.
In other news, I went to see the Provincial BB comp today and there was not one female physique\bb competitor. NOT ONE There were a million figure girls and a million bikini girls but no bb girls. Kind of disappointing..but it seems like womens bodybuilding is slowly becoming obsolete.

Guys!!! is 8 out of the 50 competitors.. nearly 1/5 of all the individuals and this is half way through! PLEASE PLEASE update just once a week and see this through!
Just doing a check up in here as well being a judge, and so far after lurking some of the logs on here i am impressed by the work being put in.
Keep fighting, keep grinding, and most of all keep that prize in the picture. See the light at the end of the tunnel and keep focused! It will be here before you know it.

Ah Sunday morning is here. It's time for some rest, football and homemade pizza!
Wow a little shocked at how many people just got DQ'd. Determination and consistency are so key to accomplishing anything in life.
Stick to the program folks and you will win in the end because no matter what you will be better than you were before you started.Weighed - 281 lbs on 1/1/2012

this
I guess I'll add something else though... I feel like my motivation is starting to slip because I've seen some results. This is what tends to happen with me. I start to make progress and then I get content with where I am. I know what i should do but I'm having trouble doing it.
Maybe just the fact that I'm admitting it this time will help in a way. Anybody else? Thoughts?
