Its not 100% confirmed. There's another side that I'm hearing is that the judge is ruling that if VRNG wants to claim wilful infringement, they can only do it from Setember 15,2011 onwards when they first made the filing. It may be confirmation bias on my part, but this make more sense to me.

Right. Apparently part of the drop was also from an article that made a typo saying they are going to get only half a mil. It was a typo though that was suppose to be 500 mil. That number is unconfirmed though. If vrng wins, anyone who bought in today is going to make some good money considering it went as low as 1.75...

Edit: back to 3.44 in after market. Gjdm to anyone who bought during the drop. I saw it but didn't have the balls.

Sold my alone holdings at 0.16 so not all bad news today. It could go as high as 0.30 but I'm not going to stick around to find out as my personal prediction is that the government would rather its citizens loose millions than let the Chinese get ahold of government funded technology. Hope this is true - bought it at $3.50 after the first drop and bounce...then when it plummeted I got 100 more shares at $2.50. **** is crazy volatile. Wish I saw it at under $2 I would of bought more shares.

The 500k vs 500 mil article is real (but unconfirmed numbers). I wouldn't worry to much at your buy in - only case you lose is if VRNG loses. If the rumor about no damages pre-2011 is true, then I'd still reckon it would be somewhere between $4-$6 which is not bad at all (especially at your 2.50 buy in).

Still hoping for the best though (and note that hoping for the best is probably something like $10-15 max, not $100 like some of those seeking alpha *******s are trying to pump it to...)

I think I need to stick to less volatile stocks so I don't get too stressed out.... then again, even "safe" stocks like google can have the ground pulled right out and drop 10% in minutes...

not quite correct as I read it. the typo was the settlement VRNG was SEEKING (at minimum), not any agreed upon ruling. Goog had a misleading headline "Google wins..."

holding my short. showed some weakness today, and there won't be news until elections. hopefully it'll gap down tomorrow morning, or rise but EOD dump.

Ballsy but good move. I'm pretty much at the max exposure I'm comfortable with any single stock with VRNG, otherwise I might add a little too. I read some chatter that VRNG came back hard to the judge this morning on how the ruling yesterday was improper. You read anything of that nature?

Well missed my good chance to sell CHTP at 1.94 due to Sandy, idk if I should still hold because on yahoo finance there are more reports to buy this stock and how it's the best stock. So idk if I should wait for the flock of people or wait for trials or sell.

Ended up lowering my exit to 2.88 because I was getting scared lol, but looks like 3 would of been no problem. I didn't think it was too ballsy as I wasn't planning on holding it beyond today and unless VRNG actually lost the trial today I don't think they could go any lower than 2.20ish... (ok it dipped below for like a minute but I think that was even before I bought in).

I haven't had time to do any in depth reading but I'm about to do that now.

I think around 0.11 - 0.13 is a good price to get in. It seems to keep bouncing off those levels
