pretty sure the PDT rule is only applicable to margin accounts. i, like many others, have a cash account so the PDT rule isn't an issue.

You're correct, but with a cash account you can still get flagged for a "free ride" and have your account locked for 90 days if you try to sell a stock that was purchased with unsettled funds before the funds have settled: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pattern..._Cash_Accounts

Wrong, using unsettled funds to buy and reselling before its settled is a small punishment it's like getting slapped on the wrist. All it does is lock your account for 90 days FROM USING unsettled funds. You can still trade but have to wait the 3 days it takes your funds to settle in order to rebuy again. It happens all the time pretty common. At least that's how it goes with scottrade.

I'm not sure how others work, but right now I'm using TD Ameritrade and if I sell before the 3 days, I still have to wait for the funds to settle before I can purchase anything else, so hopefully I won't run into this problem.

I think there could be a good bounce. The panic selling seemed to level off EOD so those who sold before and dollar dreamers may eat it up in the morning. Most of my funds are unsettled right now so I wont be adding back shares. 3 days not being liquid is too long for penny land.

Nah GNIN is an example of a PERFECT pump. Gradual climb higher followed by a massive dump

Just looking at the RSI for BMSN makes me stay away from 'buy'... also if you just draw a support line (using RSI) you'll see that price broke that line, it will rebound a bit today but gonna close below
