Haha man...I wanna go. That sounds entertaining. I also have a bone to pick with high/low dresses (seriously...why?), tops of any kind that aren't long enough for those of us with long torsos, and knee high boots I could fit TWO of my calves in (there is rumor of 'narrow' boots being available...have yet to locate this mythical creature). I could go on for days. Shopping for clothes is my least favorite activity EVER, which is a real problem, because I love cute clothes. They're just getting so hard to find
Interested in the 3/4 sleeve debacle. I personally, am a fan :-P~Impatience never demanded success~

Um, love these lol
Those are for me with my complete lack of torso!
Wait, what? I'm lucky if I can get a calf into boots labeled wide calf!
Yeah these tend to make my biceps look huge and not in a good way....
And that girls, is why clothes shopping is a PITA. We're all so differently shaped and sized. Men have the same problem too most of them just don't mind wearing shapeless ill fitting crap.Instagram: @doctorv17

I know, right?! I'll find a super cute dress, put it on and fukking pockets! Ugh! Why????? lol I actually did end up buying one that has pockets because it was just too cute not to. Thankfully I can iron the pockets down and it isn't too bad and still looks great on. May be the material helping too.

I hate clothes shopping...I am broad in the shoulders, long torso, tall (5'10"), have big calves, and a high waist. This pretty much excludes me from most women's fashions. I found a great store to shop at with clothes that actually fit me, but it's a little spendy. Sheesh....

Some stuff is a matter of preference/style, but some definitely makes no sense, or is universally awful looking.
Like yeah, some people feel awful in low rise jeans, doesn't mean they're unflattering for everyone. Pretorn jeans won't come apart as fast as if I did it myself (and come on, the crotch would wear out before the legs to). And stretchy jeans are the only way I can mange to bulk without hiding in my house in sweatpants for the last few months of it, lol (not to mention a saving point for women who can't fit jeans that fit the squat booty without a gap in the waist band).
Plus for every pair of jeans you don't like there's a pair of jeans without that feature that are basically the same.
Dresses with pockets, pockets on pants that aren't real pockets, are shoulder pads really still a thing? Lack of universal, or preferably measurement sizing (like guys clothes), underwires in small cup sizes. Not a fan of capped sleeves, maybe someone is, but I feel like I'm six again. Not a fan of 3/4 sleeves either, but given my height sometimes they come short of 3/4 and sit just a bit past my elbows, so it's weird. I have enough trouble with regular sleeves not being long enough, so I prefer full, or short, otherwise I feel awkward af.
I do like asymmetrical hemlines, and high low dresses though. I can see why some people wouldn't, especially since humans tend to like symmetry. Diagonal hemlines I can't explain the like for them, maybe it's just the lines when layered with a straight hem jacket, or something. I like high low dresses because it shows a bit more leg, but still feels a bit more covered, and I'm weird enough to feel comfortable and uncomfortable with something like that at the same time. Also, I get worried sitting with a dress on because any bending makes the back rise, not to mention sticking vinyl seating.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

This is on my mind again today. I've been trying to branch out and get a few grown up clothes vs. my usual gym gear or tee shirts and jeans.
I'm having such a hard time. It seems anything not made of rayon (hate it) is made of polyester. And there doesn't really to seem to be a cohesive look...or maybe I just don't get it. I admit to not paying much attention.
- boho back again; okay
- cropped pants w/shredded looking hems at the ankle - I live where it gets cold
- some embroidery here and there, but not as cute as the late 90s
- seeing camo, animal print, florals, lots of stripes
- a lot of baggy no waist stuff
And overall yuck quality. Picked up two shirts today and brought them home to try on. They are super fitted and look like bodycon mini dresses on me. They hit about mid thigh.
I'm not good at selfies. And this is in my kid's room hence the pink and stuffed animals.INTP Crew

I can't see the pics very well, is that a dress? I admit I bought most of my summer dresses for this past summer in the Juniors dept at Kohls. lol They fit well and they're inexpensive. Most were under $30. I need to go shopping for winter dresses soon. Might hit the store later today. Should be interesting!
