Most people outside of the misc do not want a huge screen. There is a big benefit to being able to touch the entire screen without using a second hand. There is a balancing act between a big screen, size, weight (while still maintaining high build quality), and usability. There's going to be a compromise one way or another. Apple has chosen to compromise on screen width in order to excel at everything else. Samsung has chosen to make a massive screen at the expense of everything else. Those are facts. People will go for different things.

No, I think with the market being saturated and not much differentiation among various manufacturers Apple might be looking at tough times if they cannot continue to provide better/different products, but ofcourse a lot of their revenue also comes from macs and Ipads.
Something like what happened to RIM, no one could have foreseen what they are currently going through when you look back 4-5 years back.

It seriously baffles me how Apple is able to make such minimal changes to their products year after year and people run out and line up to buy them like it's the next best thing since sliced bread. Like the transition from the 3G to the 3GS and Iphone4 to the 4S...even though they could've easily added the features they added in the 5 at that time, they opted to juice people out of money instead. And people keep falling for the okie doke. There's this chick that has all Apple products on my ******** and all she does is post Apple propaganda about how much money they made and how they're the richest company etc etc. So one day I actually commented and asked if she has any stock in Apple or something and she didn't even respond. Yes, you can sync your itunes folder on your computer with google's "play music" app. This lets you stream all of your music to your phone over 3G of wifi. Also, you can load the music straight to your phone from your itunes source folder, if you really want the music stored on your phone taking up space.
