Just noticed that Rogue has some Abram 2.0 GHD's from the Crossfit Games in the closeout section. http://www.roguefitness.com/rogue-ghd-games
$550 Not a bad price depending on how much they charge for shipping.Last edited by rthawker; 08-16-2014 at 09:39 AM.

^Everyone can do their own take on similar designs, so even if they are very similar, it's impossible to say what minor mods might have been requested by the retailer. An example is our flat bench. It's 11 gauge steel, but there are similar-looking models out there that are 14 gauge. We had to specifically request the thicker steel.
I haven't seen the Get RX'd GHD in person, but it does look very similar so it may be the same thing, tough to say. There are dozens (if not hundreds) of manufacturers overseas. We'll have a video of ours up by the end of the week showing how awesome it is though.www.repfitness.com - Gym equipment manufacturer.

Can anyone id these GHD's? The seller said they came out of a small firm in San Diego, that they were good quality, and that's about it.

Rogue Abram GHD 2.0 experiences?
Anyone had a chance to try out the Abram 2.0 yet? I like the design and price point is reasonable for high quality GHD. Been looking around and thinking about pulling the trigger. This one is leading the pack, but would like to hear from actual users. Rogue gear is usually solid, but this one is new enough that I haven't seen too many reviews. Let me know bros.

They have the first version on sale of the Rogue GHD for $545 right now. Seems like a decent price, but I REALLY like the newer swing arm design for the price and reviews. I'm an hour from Rogue, tempting! Do you GHD owners feel that having one has greatly increased leg strength, or has it just been a "so-so" accessory machine for development?

Does anybody have an opinion of this unit?

For $299 CAD, that's the cheapest I've ever seen one. The footplate looks a little small, but probably it's pretty serviceable.Clive, you're a good guy. - AttyGuy

It doesn't look like the footplate on the Training Camp GHD can be adjusted vertically. No band pegs. It looks outdated. Reminds of American Barbell Slider GHD.
I'd order GetRXD/Repfitness GHD to a UPS address for pick up if you live close to the border. I read that 90% of Canadians live within one or two hour drive from the U.S. border.

For rthawker and anyone else with a Pro-Elite/BFS ghd, the split pad from the D1 model can be made to work on the standard BFS ghd by drilling two new 7/16" holes 16" apart thru the metal base that the pad mounts to. You'll most likely need to do this on a drill press with a good vise as the new holes will have to go straight thru the portion of the handles that's contained inside the base. If you take your original pad off, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.
Old pad on top, new pad on bottom...
BFS were great to deal with on the replacement pad, and the price was very reasonable (less than $120 shipped) considering the custom color and the size of the box they shipped it in.
The only "problem" was the fact that they shipped me the wrong pad. I ordered a pad for the 30 and they shipped one for the 30A, but I believe the mistake actually worked in my favor as I wound up with a much nicer split pad instead of the original ball-squasher."What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

I know I may be opening myself up to some wisecracks but I never had a problem with a solid pad. The main problem I have with the pad on mine is the plywood base digs into my thighs so I lay some extra foam on it but it still isn't enough. Does the D1 pad dig in like the original? I have used a Rogue Abram and would like to put one of their pads on my GHD.

I haven't used this one yet since it wasn't functional when I picked it up. The adjuster was missing both the pop-pin and the thumbscrew, and the pad looked like it had been mauled by a pitbull. IIRC, I paid about $30 for it but I'll wind up with about $250 in it with the new pad, replacement rubber caps for the feet, pvc grips, new rollers, thumbscrew, larger foot plate, etc. That's more than I intended to invest in it, but I think that's about the break-even point on this unit. I probably won't make any money on it when/if I decide to sell, but I shouldn't lose much (if any) money on it either.
This unit is intended to replace the 45° hyper I use for back extensions as well as pulling ghr duty, so the split pad is definitely going to be a noticeable upgrade. If all you use it for is glute ham raises, it may not be as big a deal."What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

The original pad that came on my Legend 3130 had the same problem of the base pressing into my thighs. I already had a pair of Rogue Abram pads, so , I made an steel adaptor plate to mount the Rogue pads to the Legend mounting plate and it works great.
