Bought the sh*tty HTC one X before this summer after having every iPhone since the first generation, after 5 months. I'm ready for my iPhone again.
Who else is planning on getting one? When do you all think it will be announced? (today)

I've had my 4 for just about 2 years now and it still works great. If it's similarly priced I might go for one. Common sense says I don't need one, but my inner nerd will not deny me a new gadget.
Edit: Just like they did with the 4S, Engadget will liveblog for the 5.

Yeah I still have my 4 and it's still working great. If it's a good deal when I renew my contract, I might spring for the upgrade but not sure; I've been pretty cheap these days. I'm not one of those who have to have it right when it comes out either, I'll wait a few months and see if its worth it, customer reviews, etc.

The geek inside me wants to camp out again for it but I'm really behind on gaming, so I think I'll save the money and catch up on a handful of hits I've missed.
“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

Everyone will differ on the whole phone subject. I was a Verizon user for years and years having both LG and HTC phones all of which are decent. I now have an iPhone 4s thanks to my wife and I wouldn't want to live without it. I'm on it all day from 6am-10pm and its never died yet whereas my last LG died in a few hours with an extended life battery that was bulky as hell compared to my iPhone. Funny thing is I used to despise apple products.
Anyway, I'll be sticking with my 4s for awhile, I love it and it's only 4-5 months old.

It doesn't help that I prefer getting all the achievements in a single game first before moving on, so I end up spending a lot of time with one game.“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all!
