I'm 5'9; I am taller than most of my friends and the large majority of girls.
I do not consider myself short. I consider myself average or above average.~~NEWBIE~~

I'm 5'10, the tallest guy in my school was 6'4, I was generally taller than most or the same height as the other guys my age. Pretty sure most "6 footers" are adding a couple inches to their height irl.

As much as i'd like to say otherwise, being somewhere in the region of 5ft8-10 myself, yes it is short.
That feel when there are women and girls at your workplace and school that are your height and taller.
There is nothing more emasculating than being outsized by a women.

If you're at least one standard deviation above the mean height in you're country you are considered tall. True story.

You know what guys like Bruce lee, Jackie Chan, Tony Jaa, Van Damme have in common? They are all short guys. And they were/are some of the best at martial arts. Being short makes flexibility easier, jump easier, makes you faster, etc. There are a lot of shorts guys in the UFC. Stop crying about being short and use it to your advantage.

"Many basic or compound exercises (e.g. squat, bench press, etc.) have a bell shaped resistance curves or shift the resistance through multiple muscle groups throughout the exercise's range of motion allowing the muscles to momentarily relax between repetitions. This period of momentary relaxation between repetitions allows greater opportunity for momentary blood flow permitting the clearing of acid accumulation."
