Cheapest rolled oats the supermarket has. For instance, Quaker Oats is $5.19 for 2 pounds of rolled oats and the generic brand is $2.39 for the same amount and the same exact stats. I use these with a banana, cinnamon and natty pb and a protein shake to start my day.

Also, I cook the 1/2 cup of oats w/ a 1 cup of water in the microwave for a 1:20 then add the rest of the ingredients. The pb melts with the bananas and cinnamon when mixing, I can eat this all day and never complain, it's simply delicious.

I just get the cheapest oats I can find. I like to make them with milk instead of water. If you want to sweeten it up more try adding some raspberries, blueberries, or some peanut butter while on the stove (cooking the fruit in the oats makes them release the sugar into the oats.)

    Buy any kind of oats
    Rolled, instant, steel cut
The difference in nutrition is almost non-existant
Best proats I have made is with Cinnamon Bun whey (MGN has the most flavor)
Add peanut butter for more flavor or cottage cheese for creaminess
