Misc Im losing hair all over my head and my scalp is itchy plz help (srs)

Misc last tuesday I got my hair cut, then about 2-3 days after that I noticed my hair falling out.

Ie. I grab some hair and gently tug and I will end up with a punch of hairs (1-10).

Most of these hairs also have a follicle attached (little white speck as end).

Never had this happen before and it just randomly started happening and the only thing I can think of is going to get a hair cut 3 days ago ( i only go every 2-3 months).

Only thing that has been happening besides hair falling out is slightly itchy scalp. No redness or nothing (yet atleast).

Anyone know wtf is wrong with me or what happened?

Did I catch some **** from unclean scissors or what.

Sounds like telogen effluvium. I've been dealing with chronic telogen effluvium with seb. dermatitis for about a year now after throwing my hormones out of whack. Surprisingly, I still have a full head of hair though.

Google it. There are a few things that can kick it off (stress being one of them). I was loosing about 100 hairs at a time. I would have hair regrowth but it wouldn't regrow as quick as I was losing so I've lost over half my hair density.

you're so short, that in fact, there is no more gravitational pull on your body, so your hairs have nothing to keep them 'grounded'

hay mate, think i may have thrown my hormones out as well, i am experiencing the same type of rapid hair loss, along with itchy and tingling sensation, dermatologist can not figure it out, what are some of the things you have been doing / taking to maintain your hair. ie supplements, vitamins etc

    cheers

This. Nizoral has been a god send for me. I have a full head of hair but had terrible dandruff and red patches on my scalp and even cheek. I have used it about 4 times in 2 weeks and the dandruff is gone and so are the red patches and my hair looks and feels great. I have absolutely zero itchiness.

is it all over or just in male pattern baldness spots? The white doesn't necessarily mean its the root. It could be skin cells especially if its not exactly at the tip.
