Best Protein for you Buck??

I'm operating on a bit of a budget and was looking to buy a protein blend in bulk to cut down on cost per serving. I've been looking at MP Combat as well as Nutrex Muscle Infusion.

Anybody have any suggestions? Taste isn't a big factor to me...

Phase8 is very good; but Dymatize Elite XT is still cheaper. Phase8 = $30 for 44 servings with BOGO, Elite XT = $30 for 61 servings.

Alternatively, chicken thighs at Costco are $0.99 per pound.

Thanks, I've been looking at Dymatize. I know there are a lot of threads with similar topics but it seems like they are from 2003 and 10lbs of whey isolate was 50 bucks, wish that was still the case...

I would have to say MusclePharm is one of the protein blends that you do not get the most bang for your buck. It is relatively expensive. I buy 5lb. tubs of Optimum Whey. It works, taste great, and lasts long. I also eat lots of eggs for breakfast and grilled chicken breasts and sometimes tuna. ON is the best i believe.

I've always stuck with Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey.. Just bought BSN's Syntha-6 this week to try.. but like they said above, food is better than it all. Milk, Tuna, and Eggs. One thing not mentioned is Cottage Cheese.. It's amazing nutritionally speaking.

Thanks, I usually eat pretty clean... salmon, cottage cheese, chicken, etc.

Never heard of SAN, but I like that 26/2/2 profile and 67 servings for 40 bucks. Rocky road and vanilla almond aren't tickling my fancy. I see you skipped the standard vanilla and chocolate.

If you search around you can get it for ~$33 but if you really want to become a SAN sackrider...errr fan, get the SAN Fusion vanilla pudding. The stuff is amazing.
