    I think 25lbs is the limit for natural gains in a year, but that is with perfect diet training and rest.

    Edit: Read link, he claims he is 165@6'2"? At the end of my cut I was about 30lbs heavier than him and similar bf% and did not look that big. His legs must be toothpicks.

    maximum protein synthesis is 15g per day (MAXIMUM), then I guess account for noob gains, then realise if you're gaining muscle then you're gaining fat (ideal ration for protein synthesis is like 1:1 so you're going to have around 12lb of muscle and 12 of fat in a year + noob gains.... and he has a low bf%. I highly doubt.

    I gained about 21-22lbs my first year lifting with diet/routine/sleep dialed in. I think he's frauding his stats though.


    Edit: His pic also looks like he's got the Christian Bale Machinist thing going on. Wouldn't be surprised if he was bigger before and there is some muscle memory at play. Pulling a Tim Ferris 20lbs in a month while losing fat broscience snake oil sales pitch.

    I don't see any reason why he couldn't be natural... it's solid progress, but it's doable.
