In Texas, you can buy class III weapons through a trust, no permit needed but you do have to pay a $200 NFA tax on each item and then wait a few months for everything to clear.

You don't need a trust, but most people use it to save time and money over filing as a form 4 individual.

Great weapon and I agree with the idea about a can.

One down side I see is that the gun is a full size combat pistol, not the best for concealed work but if its strapped to your leg or rig then obviously ccw and size is a non factor. Also how is the grip, is it fat feeling because its a double stack 45 acp?

And if you actually plan on using the threaded barrel, another 350 for the tax stamp.

It's cool, but the pricing is insane for a .45 that isn't match grade.

Feels ok, but it's a very aggressive texture. It's not the most ergonomic pistol, but it's going to be a fun little gun to play around with.
