Tattoo is very personal thing and you shouldn't be asking other people what to get...if you are asking other people then you shouldn't get one in first place. Now, answering your question...it totally depends on how much work is needed to be done on tribal tattoo. You might want to show what you want to your artist and ask him how much would it cost. I have two tribals on both of my biceps and I paid around $700 for both. So, if you are planning to get full arm..depends on the design it might run you for $1500 but that's just an estimate. Please refer to your artist for correct price.

It wouldnt be so bad if you were to incorporate some tribal into a tattoo if you are Welsh, Scottish, Irish, Maori etc and feel strongly about your heritage. But americans and others with no knowledge of the history of these designs, and then getting tatted is plain stupid and ruins it.
