Russell Wilson, the first QB in NFL history to throw a game-winning interception.
"So you got fired again eh?" "Yeah, they always freak out when you leave the scene of an accident."
Spiders are like offensive linemen, the best ones do their job and you never notice them.
An obvious example of New Math.

1500 yards this season, i am very confident he wont surpass last years numbers. When do you see an athlete have a record breaking season, then surpass it the following year? Almost never happens. The odds are against CJ to match last year.

Calvin probably will have a better career because by all accounts he isn't slack/headcase/etc like Moss was.
That said, if Moss had Calvin's attitude throughout his entire career, motherofgod.jpg at the possibilities, which is saying a LOT considering how ****ing good his career already is.
and I'm still seriously lmfaoing at "20-30% chance" of shattering an all time record by almost 200 yards.*Cam Newton Crew*

less that than simple history. There's only so much an even 'unstoppable' player like Johnson can do. as dominant as he is/was last season, he still had games of 29 yards, 49, 69, and 29.
For every 29 yard game he posts, he needs to post a 225 yard game to make up for it.
125 yards per game is absolutely insane for a WR for an entire season
consider this. He has 11 games of 125+ yards receiving in his entire career. He has 23 games with < 50 yards receiving. Even last season, his 'best' effort was 4 consecutive games > 100 yards receiving, and only 2 of them were over >=125
100 yards receiving becomes a 'bad game' that needs to be made up for with a 150-yard game, and he only had 2 of those last season.
that's just the nature of the position.

Yeah. I mean, there have been thousands of WRs that have never achieved 2000 yards receiving in the entirety of the NFL, so it's not like this is a done deal. I'm just saying if anyone can do it it's Calvin, and I do think he has a fair shot to reach this milestone, as long as that offense stays healthy. Calvin makes plays no other WR can make in the game today and is just getting started IMO. He's had one real season with Stafford and he gets double teamed every game and he has been for years. That won't stop him from putting up huge numbers. A perfect pass to Calvin beats perfect coverage every time.
I think Julio Jones reaches 1600 yards receiving this season too. He is going to put up HUGE numbers as well.355 Bench

Stafford has been horrific this season so far. Yes, it's looking unlikely, but of course it will after a game where he only has 34 yards receiving. If he goes out and gets 200 receiving next week (he's playing the Seahawks, so highly, highly unlikely), 1200 in 9 games is nearly on pace for 2000.
Calvin is going to need 3, maybe even 4 200 yard games this season I think to get close to that number. That's asking a lot, but like I said, if there is a player that can do it, it's Calvin.
But seriously, Stafford has been terrible. Without Calvin, that might be the worst offense in the league.355 Bench
