I tell myself calves are primarily a genetic thing more then probably any other muscle group yet I know thats not 100% true

Great calves crew checking in. See avi pic. My gf has great calves and that is one of the reasons we are dating. Srs. When we have kids, hopefully the genetic trait will pass on.

I use the hack squat station and do them one legged to not wreck the lower back as I can overload the muscle with assisted reps using the other leg.
