Great calves crew checking in. See avi pic. My gf has great calves and that is one of the reasons we are dating. Srs. When we have kids, hopefully the genetic trait will pass on.
Mine are looking meh at the moment because of 2 knee surgeries this year. Can't wait to get te veins back!

thanks man. can't go wrong with too much calves. my favorite calf mass builder - paused reps - top/bottom max ROM pause, using the smith machine.. all the way to 495s. controlled cadence.. smith will wreck the lowerback if you get sloppy..

dad is rocking some serious calves at 52, so is my grandpa on my moms side. So I was blessed on that aspect, can't find a measuring tape though

lol my dad does too at 55, and he never trained them... To be honest he got the biggest calves I've ever seen in person, I will try to get a pic and post it here.

I use the hack squat station and do them one legged to not wreck the lower back as I can overload the muscle with assisted reps using the other leg.

Calves suck, I have always walked on my heels so calves never developed properly. Any advice besides don't walk on your heels. Lol

maybe invest in the new balance minimus shoes, or other barefoot shoes that help you walk more on the balls of your feet
