Day 88
JUGGERNAUT ® IN THE MAKING (melalicious)
Today is day 88!!! For the past three days, I have continued to log, but not including the details of my diet and training as I did during the 84 days of the challenge. I miss including all of the detail, and when I look at my log over these past few days it feels like something is missing! I am keeping a log anyway, so for these last few days I am going back to my same format
As I mentioned on Monday, I am taking this week off from the usual lifting, and will write up a new lifting plan to begin next week. I am still teaching my Spin Classes, still doing my cardio and running, and still hitting workouts at the CrossFit gym. Today, though, I did not do any training! As those of you who have been following me know, I typically workout twice a day (a.m. and p.m.) and I do not take rest days, I am always doing something, even if it’s just teaching a class or getting out for a short run. There were a few Sundays that I ended up with some unplanned no training, but I never plan it in. Without my usual lifting, I guess it’s easy for that to happen! But it was a good day, we had family time in the kitchen in the morning and then again over dinner tonight. We are all so busy that it was nice to have that time today.
I did not use any Juggernaut HP today since I did not do any training, but I did do Infinite Force in the late afternoon, which I typically do.

Ha! Yes, it is!!! I am just doing some work in my home office, and I am working on my new lifting plan that I will start on Monday! This afternoon I will be doing a workout in my home gym, an upper body circuit with push-ups, planks, etc...and I want to do some good stretching. I have my 5K tomorrow! It's been tough not having my usual workout schedule this week, but I know that I needed to take the week off from the usual lifting. I know it was good for my body and actually, I've gotten to some extra projects this week so it's been good.
I will be posting my complete daily log later to include my workout and my meals

Reminiscing
Since writing my essay I just cannot stop thinking about my journey and I cannot stop smiling when I think about it! As I mentioned in my essay, after the Hartford Half Marathon on October 15, 2011, it was a serious wake up call. Well, I have been looking through my photos and just cannot get over the difference, not only in the way that I look, it’s also in the way that I feel, how much energy I have, the confidence that I have and how happy I am! Here are those photos that show the changes in me, inside and out, since that wake up call…as they say…a picture is worth a thousand words!
Photo 1 – October 15, 2011 – The Hartford Half Marathon
I was out of shape, not fit, had no energy, and I felt miserable. The race was not fun. The look on my face says it all! There are no post race photos because I was so sick afterwards I could not stop vomiting. I felt awful.
Photo 2 – August 11, 2012 – The Deary Memorial 5 mile Road Race
In March of 2012, I had started to get back onto somewhat of a regular training plan, including lifting and running. I started eating healthier again, and not splurging quite as much as I had been. But I still lacked energy, and I still did not have any goals. It was really hot and humid for this race, which I do not run well in, and I ended up having to stop and walk. Although it was really humid, I could not help but think that I should have just sucked it up and pushed harder. I really felt like I failed. I was really disappointed in myself.
**I started the I AM JUGGERNAUT CHALLENGE ON September 02, 2012 and this is when my life changed**
Photo 3 – September 23, 2012 – DAY 21 – I AM JUGGERNAUT CHALLENGE
Heading out for a Sunday long run, training for the Newport Half Marathon. It was Day 21 into the challenge. I had clearly defined goals, was eating a clean diet, using Infinite Labs supplementation (including Juggernaut HP), and I was on a new training plan. I was eating and training differently than I ever had in my life, and it was working!!! I was feeling good, feeling happy and I had so much energy!!!
Photo 4 – October 14, 2012 – DAY 42 – I AM JUGGERNAUT CHALLENGE
Post-race photo after running the Newport Half Marathon!!! I set a goal to run in sub 2 hours and not only did I accomplish my goal, I felt so good during the entire race! I had so much focus, energy and strength. I felt better than I ever had before. And I felt amazing after the race!!! The look on my face says it all!
Photo 4 – November 25, 2012 – DAY 84 – I AM JUGGERNAUT CHALLENGE
Final photo, Day 84 of the I AM JUGERNAUT Challenge!!! Feeling amazing!!! Healthy, fit, confident and happy!!!

Today is Day 91!!! Today was race day, so no Sunday funday at the CrossFit Gym…
