    Workout Plan For 13 Yr Old Sister

    Hey guys what's up? My younger sister is goin into 8th grade and she wants to start liftin weights to get stronger for volleyball and softball. She played 9th grade volleyball last yr in 7th grade and wants to make b squad or varsity this year. What would you reccomend for a workout?

    I would say explosive stuff for jumping. Try olympic lifting and plyometrics and powerlifting for extra, well, power .

    i'd say a full body workout wouldn't be a bad idea since she's a young girl...take it to the sports conditioning and female bodybuilding forum....you'd probably be getting better advice. Peace

    Yep, good call. I think the 10-15 rep range would benefit a young girl the most, though I'm no expert. Also, bodyweight exercises are good.
