People can tell with me. I have pretty decent biceps that are rather vascular, the main vein has several branching off it, and people often ask what I curl, bench, etc. My triceps are pretty nicely defined as well, giving my arms that nice shadow and girth.
I feel bad for guys who work very hard at the gym and are still scrawny/just can't fill their shirts. Several of my friends have to deal with this and I applaud their perseverance, because you can't even tell they work out.

Well as a woman, once we see some defined traps and delts through the shirt, even if it's a smidge of an outline through an oversized shirt.. we KNOW you lift, lol. I think it beats out abs, pecs, even biceps and triceps..this is what we can see from a mile away.
