its just a mental thing. I kinda feel like i have better workouts when i dont take any pre/caffeine and am just in a good/happy mood and ready to kill the workout

Ayooooo I'm still alive!
I recently moved for school and have been busy getting acclamated. It's so sick here and I've still been working out but it's just maintenance for now I haven't gotten on a linear progressing routine yet :/ so nothing woth documenting! They feed us 3 meals a day here and they kind of suck like any cafeteria so I'm struggling to keep my weight up (I'm like 170 now and it's only been a month) so daily calorie intake is only like 2000-2500 calories which blows.

Hey brotha! Finishing up the semester here, just been struggling to maintain among poverty diet and crappy school food, my lifts havent gone down too bad all things considering but I deff haven't made any progress, this week's noticeable lifts
Bench: n/a, only dumbbells, like 80s for sets of 8-10 reps
Standing OHP: 135x7, really happy and impressed with this that its still there
Squat: 315x5, nice and low
Deadlift: 405x1, I was exhausted that day so I'll take it, even tho i got 405x3 a couple weeks ago
During my time home I'm gonna train hard and run the 5/3/1 cycle. Can't wait to get back to the home gym advantage I'll be back in DecemberPR's -

Hey guys i'm back home for 6 weeks and running the 5/3/1, gonna make some gainz and get swole again before next semester! Looking forward to being part of the community again, missed you guys! Had a solid first workout, weighing a whopping 180 and dont really care if my weight changes or not, I wanna slim down a little more but I'll take strength over that

130x10 Pretty impressed despite crap school diet I still got a pretty strong overhead

205x5 Haven't barbell benched in over 4 months and was impressed I could get this especially after OHP. It was pretty effortless, confident I couldve hit 210x5! I experimented and worked best with wide grip, looking forward to some big progress here the next 6 weeks

Haven't done any kind of linear progression or maxing out since Feb 2013, so it's almost been a year starting maxes for 5/3/1 are pretty conservative: 155 OHP, 230 BP, 335 squat, 405 DL I have no doubt I can lift more than those but I'll move thru the program quickly enoughPR's -

Also, in regards to diet I'm keeping the cals between 2500-3000 depending on the day. Getting in protein shakes post-workout, getting back on pre-workout and loading up on creatine so I'm gonna maximize my supplements while I'm back. Macros arent strict but ballpark 150g protein, 300g carbs, 100g fats, obviously protein intake isnt optimal but realistically that's all I'll be getting
