Dang, thank God for an awesome leg day! I'm back to where I was my strongest with squats and it totally caught me off guard. Tied a PR tonight and still had more gas in the tank lol part of me is not looking forward to going back to school...I get so much done training wise when I'm home in my own element. Whatever. Bench Press Day
So my bench press ratio to my other lifts is pretty terrible but I can say that my upper body is the strongest it's ever been and my lower body is as strong as it was my last cycle of 5/3/1. I lost a lot during the semester but gained it all back and then some in 6 weeks which I am extremely grateful for. It's been an awesome time training and I'm sad to say that next week is prep before going back and after that my logs will be few and far between for a while always encouraging to see your guys progress so I'll deff be lurkin! Expect one more serious update tomorrow bout deadlifts

Good evening boys! With the semester winding down I'm gonna start logging again more regularly. Got a new routine based off of the Bulgarian powerlifting method. I'll post it here, I'll be living in California and working for a landscaping company here during the summer so I'm planning on having a strict sleep schedule and the healthiest, meatiest poor man diet I can pull off.
Here's the routine I'll be running the end of this month, starting 1RM will most likely be: 355lb squat, 455lb deadlift, 240lb bench, 175lb ohp
Monday - Squat 5x1-3, Bench Press 5x1-3, Pull-ups 3xAMRAP
Tuesday - Front Squat 5x5-7, OHP 5x5-7, Dips 3xAMRAP
Wednesday - Squat 5x3-5, Bench Press 5x3-5, Pull-ups 3xAMRAP
Thursday - Front Squat 5x3-5, OHP 5x3-5, Dips 3xAMRAP
Friday - Squat 5x5-7, Bench Press 5x5-7, Pull-ups 3xAMRAP
Saturday - Deadlift 5x1, Power-clean 5x3, Rows 5x5
Sunday - REST
Assistance Work: Hamstrings, Calves, Abdominals (3-4x per week)
5x1-3 use 90% of 1RM
5x3-5 use 75% of 1RM
5x5-7 use 60% of 1RM
Saturday: Speed/Dynamic Emphasis

Been eating between 2,750 and 3,000 calories the past month and I'm still in between 185-190. Gonna try to up it to 3,250-500 to keep packing on mass despite squats everyday and working fulltime.

Had a cigar at 11pm last night and worked out at 10am this morning. I need 24 hours to get the smoke out of my system. I felt sluggish and out of breath. Got through my lifts but nothing was explosive and everything was a grinder. No cigars unless it's a rest day the next day!
