I think I'll figure something out. $30 plus the book is $30 total $60 is way too much. I need so many other things too though like wrist wraps, whey protein, fish oil, glucosamine, maybe knee sleeves but those are too expensive, first aid for USMLE step 1 book, and now even PP 3rd Edition, haha. Space is limited, so I'm trying to figure out what to get and what not to get.
Maybe I could just tell Musid to read through the book and coach me through my programming, haha!TM Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=145984543&highlight=pyaarawala

Thanks guys.
P - book looks like its about 2-3 lbs, but the preorder ability of it is over, so it'll need to be for sale on Amazon or something similar before you can have your sis bring it...not sure when that will be lol.
And yeah, anything I get of interest from the book that might pertain to you and your training I'll relay. IK you mighta been joking, but yeah happy to help.
Jshaw - No e-reader version yet. Mine was a preorder directly from Rip, so it was a bit cheaper and everyone who did a preorder got it before it actually was made publicly available, so it's not available in stores yet.My log

SO much WIN in this thread!
**edit:
Isn't this the book you ordered? Looks like it's still for sale. If it's only 2-3 lbs I think it should be fine.

Missed this post. Yeah the same happens to me. I tried to grab a bit narrower than my bench press grip, but then it becomes way too difficult to get my elbows up. After unracking in that position, and usually after the first couple reps I have to widen the grip due to discomfort.
So it's either get my elbows up by widening the grip and sacrificing back tightness, or sacrifice elbows up for back tightness by narrowing the grip, which also causes elbow pain. I know the choice is obvious but I wish I could go narrow w/ no elbow pain.
Also about PP3rd Edition, is it a hardcover or paperback? Also, any idea when it was released?TM Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=145984543&highlight=pyaarawala

Win
Lol
PP 3rd edition is paperback. Its not even in stores yet, the copy I got was from a preorder that could only be ordered directly from Rip's site. I'm surprised theres still more left.
Best thing to do would be to keep elbows up and work on shoulder flexibility IMO.My log

Upper Intensity - 01/23/2014
Paused Bench
275x2
275x2
Dips
BW + 45lbs x 8
BW + 45lbs x 8
Notes: On second rep of second set of bench I brought my butt off the bench. First set was perfect tho. I'll prolly decrease volume bench a bit and go for 277.5x3 on paused bench next week.
Lower Intensity - 01/24/2014
Squats
405x2
405x1
Deadlift
410x4
Pendlay Rows
205x10
205x10
205x10
Notes: Could have pushed through second rep of second set of squats, but for some reason I got thrown forward on my toes as I was coming up on the first rep, which threw me off and started to cramp up my calf, so I decided to call it a day there. I'll shoot for the 405x2x2 next week. DLs suffered after heavy squats. Can't see the weights in the vid, but its 405.My log

Thanks Andrew! I should have had 5 on deadlift, so I'm not too happy with that, but meh.
Thanks P!
Lol Thanks Mike!
I totally pictured Rip saying the bolded part.
I emphasized the pause cuz I figure I'd be better off emphasizing it than not doing it right lol.
I might just continue with double for a while, we'll see how far I can get with that.
Thanks bud.My log

Notes: I reset the bench volume weight a bit in an effort to increase recovery for ID. I am also going to begin doing an ID OHP prior to my volume bench because I want to increase the focus on my OHP and OHP is light enough that it shouldn't affect my ability to complete my volume day bench weights. I'll work with triples for now, and a few sets of doubles soon.My log

Good pause and looking strong off the chest with those first 2 reps .. it looked to me like you'd got the third after a short grind but did you fail to lock out? (the weights hide your arms during the press)
Strong benching anyway and really strong OHPs for volume"Better to wear out than rust out!"
Squat 165kg/363lbs
Deadlift 190kg/418lbs
