It's great to see the 'roving camera' pics ... squatting is looking really solid and easy for you at 242 and you just power through those reps. OHPs are looking really solid and strong. Really looking thick across the back and shoulders now

Really smooth squatting there. You're a bench beast! It doesn't even look like you focus much on your setup yet you still bench such heavy ass weight and you even unrack it yourself. Why do you wiggle your knees in and out though during the set? And you keep those adipowers on even through bench? I only put em on for squatting and that's it. It's pretty tight and tough to walk in.

Lol thanks P!
Yeah i dont like the idea of the excessive arch so i set up with a slight arch because as i understand it a slight arch is necessary for the safety of your shoulders and transmission of force between your legs and upper body.
I use a lot of leg drive for my bench and when im wiggling my kneed im trying to get rid of a cramp i just got when benching in my glutes. I need to do some stretching on them so they dont cramp up midway through and so i could keep tighter throughout the whole lift.
The adipowers are tight i agree but i keep em on for everything but deadlifts. Too lazy to run back and forth to change shoes for anything else lol.My log

SOLID! Your squats are superb - great form, great depth, and completely controlled. Based on your vid, I am going to try a slightly wider stance like yours since you look really stable in the hole.
Bench is really strong too. Glad to hear that you don't like the excessive arch. No offense to those who use it, but I personally don't find bending your spine in half to have the bar touch your sternum/stomach with a 2" ROM impressive at all. Case in point, there is a video on youtube of some 13 (or so) year old girl who 'benches' 200+ like that. Not going to clutter your log up by posting that garbage (IMO) video here though. Cramps are scary stuff man - definitely be careful about that. I get them in my hamstrings sometimes when I do dips by lifting my lower body up too high, but I can quickly jump off of the bars if need be. I can't imagine cramping with 280 lbs in my hands while on my back lol.
Not sure if I missed something, but do you go really conservative with deadlifts? I don't think I have seen anyone with matching numbers for squats and deads. They looked good too btw. I didn't notice the hitching that you are saying, but you're the deadlifter, so you may feel something that the vid doesn't really show. Do you feel that the belt helps you or is something of a hinderance. I don't use a belt for anything and never have (never used a good lifting belt), but I thought that I read before that a belt could make it worse?

Great work on all of those lifts Musid ... strong benching -- the form on the first set looked excellent and I didn't see any significant buttlift on any of the reps. Great control and no bounce off the chest at all. Deads looked very good and every rep looked easy

Thanks!
Yeah i know the vid ur talking about i laughed when i saw it. We share a similar impression on bench press.
In regards to the deadlift - yeah im a bit conservative on it. Ive reset it so many times in an attempt to get the lift right. The resets have helped me hammer down form.
Yeah belt is a fantastic investment. The way rip explains it is that it gives ur abs something to contract against. Kind of like how u can contract ur biceps harder with a barbell in your hand u can contract ur abs harder with a belt on. Your muscles dont go to sleep when u wear a belt ur abs work considerably harder allowing you to lift more weight and keep your spine safe. To my knowledge its good to incorporate some kind of back work as well like ghrs or back extensions as well when u use a belt.
You have starting strength right? Rip explains the purpose and function of a belt well in there. Its not a hinderance tho cuz u get stronger while wearing a belt.
Thanks Andrew! Butt didnt lift at all but it kind of looked like it did in some vids.My log

Geez ... remind me not to get in your way if you want something ... you approached the bar for the first set as though you were going to rip someone's head off
There wasn't much of a push-press so those reps are looking very solid. Watch out for the lean back OK to avoid injuring your back, but you're looking very strong so 180 should be no problem"Better to wear out than rust out!"
