Kind of crazy that putting your thumb under vs over the bar makes that big of a difference but I'm there with you! I use to get really bad elbow pain when I had my thumb gripping the bar vs over it. What kind of wraps are you using?

Yeah definitely. You gotta find out what works for you. Thank you Sen!
Lol Thanks Michael!
Lol Thank you Andrew! When you put it like that it sounds so awesome!
Lol - I'm leaning towards upping it either next session or the one after. It felt tough; but not too tough.
275 is so much easier to load too.
Lol! Do it! The bros will be mad!
TY Juggz! Yeah, I have no idea whats going on with those - they felt tough lol. I have the traps of a 4 year old. I'm working on em!
Thanks Ryan! Yeah I belted up for those. I can do it without a belt tho - I feel like it makes me actually work harder with a belt - my abs are more sore with a belt than without. Maybe next session I'll try it without a belt.
Yeah! Thats exactly what I was thinking! It felt like a lot more quad work with my thumbs around the bar for some reason. I wonder what it is?
I'm using Inzer wraps . Inzers typically a solid choice. My log

INTENSITY DAY
Squats
315x3
DL
350x5
bench
240x5
Power clean to OHP
145x5x3
And some chins
Note: I was under quite a bit of stress and I really think that my performance would have been better if it weren't due to some outside factors. Anyway km going to continue my cut starting today. It'll prolly be no longer than till June if even that. I was thinking of switching to 5/3/1 till my cut is over to continue slow progression on the lifts. Does anyone have any feedback on that? I love TM but i feel like it will be too demanding on a cut with a likelihood of no progress.

Nothing wrong with cutting on TM! You just go in and get your work done. You raise volume weight if you can. If you stall at intensity weight you can switch to triples, doubles then singles. Even if you're not making progress you can still have fun with the program while you focus on losing weight.

I think a lower volume higher frequency format works well for cutting. With low energy levels I think a injury is more likely to occur with high volume. Your chief concern should b to retain strength so that should guide your decision.

So the cut started today. What I'm going to do is follow a routine very similar to what I put together a few pages back. It's got a lot of elements of TM in mind, but one of the biggest changes is that I'm replacing the max effort lifts with Dynamic Effort. I feel like that would be safer and better than shooting for a new max of one set. I'm also going to try to shoot for an increase of 2.5lbs/week in most lifts.
Squats
275x5x5
I focused on going nice and DEEP with these. Can't really tell from the back but they were deep.
BB Rows
167.5x3x8
Minimal hip extension
DL
355x1x3
I need to focus on keeping my chest up on DLs. I only got 3 because I felt like form was breaking down, but I did just do 1x5 DLs 2 days ago. So I'm not worried about it at all.
Bench
215x5x5
These felt VERY easy...strange with how tough 240 felt. Also looks like I'm lifting more with my left side than my right - which makes sense I suppose with the tear in my right shoulder. Good to know so that I can work on it though.
BB curls
90x2x7
90x1x8

Great session, bro!
All of the movements looked good and weights are heavy.
ID was excellent, too. Strength is really coming along.
That's an interesting observation with the benching. Good angle on the video to spot that, otherwise you wouldn't even notice.
I want to try the same thing.
Good luck going back on the cut. Time to get shredded for summertime.Architect, Marine Biologist, Importer-Exporter, Latex Manufacturing.

Damn strong bro. How have those rows been working for you? I dropped rows from the floor a long time ago in favor of the traditional bodybuilding style.

In man. Cutting too, using a 9 week periodized program I wrote up using oly and power lifts.
I like higher intensity (heavier) sets during cutting rather than big volume. Good luck with it all!M.S. Exercise Physiology - Powerlifter - Strength and Conditioning Coach - Personal Trainer

Great strength on the intensity day Musid! Those 315 squats were really deep and strong and strong deadlifting and benching as well
With the 275 squats: they were plenty deep, but you do have a tendency to drive up the hips and let the back roll forward, and then to good morning up the weight. This is still better form than 99% of people but you want to be wary about risking your lower back. With the deadlifts: I am really impressed with how you've added strength over the last two months. Your chest and head are being kept up and you are getting really good leg drive to initiate the lift, however if anything you are rounding your lower back a little. These two vids just show that you've got really strong legs and hips and that your lower back has a little catching up to do to equal them"Better to wear out than rust out!"

Everything looked pretty good! Good luck on the cut! I'm about to finish week 3 of my cut myself. I'm starting to get used to eating little food now. And I like to eat more food on Saturday's after basketball since I play for hours and burn a lot of calories.
However, in the gym I haven't really noticed any weakness due to cutting. It feels exactly the same as when I was bulking. Maybe because my lifts aren't quite heavy yet. I am lifting less than before going on vacation, but I think the reason why I'm lifting less is because of the vacation itself, not because I'm cutting. I guess that's a good thing! Maybe it'll help if you try to pretend your not cutting, so you have more strength in the gym.TM Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=145984543&highlight=pyaarawala

Lol TY Opeth yeah it sux... I'm already feeling it in just a week blah.
Yeah lol thanks Tom! Gotta be sexy for summer!
Ty Suicide! Rows have been alright, not too hard honestly. I've been trying to use less hip extension and more back. I like rows from the ground much more than traditional bb rows. Try em out let me know what u think.
Yeah TY Juggz! My strength won't be as good as urs on ur bulk, but I can try to keep up! LOL!
TY RB! I appreciate it!
Lol hey Dave! I'm not exactly sure how much I'm trying to lose, probably no more than 10lbs. I'm actually going to be cutting till the end of April. I don't have all that much to lose. Just wanna be leaner for summer.
TY Michael!
TY Ginja! Yeah definitely I hear u lol...as u said easier said than done though. Your deads have been looking SUPER solid lately!
TY Hunter! Yeah I got 3 plates for 3 reps. On the 3rd rep the bar jumped up my back a bit making it more of a back movement than it could have been which threw me off a lot. Heres the vid.
Hey Moose! GL on the cut man! I'll sub to your log too! And I'm with you on the higher intensity sets vs volume while cutting. I'm a fan of higher intensity regardless, but especially while cutting!
TY Andrew! I appreciate all the tips. I'm going to be focusing on Good mornings and back extensions more to get my lower back stronger!
Hey Nadeem! Yeah I do. Username is MusidMohamed. Do you use it?
TY Pyaarawala! Cool to hear the cut hasn't affected u much (yet) lol. Wait till it gets longer and your energy level sink more. Also the leaner u get the harder the cut will get man. It will be brutal soon enough ahahah! Great job on the cut so far tho!
Note: I've been extremely busy. I haven't really had a chance to upload anything or get in ppls logs as much as I'd like so tomorrow I'm planning on getting in ppls logs.My log
