Squat form looked really good to me. You could see you wavering a little with the last rep, so no problem in staying with the 265 for another week or two
Great form on the deficit deads. You can see how they force you to adopt a good upright stance and help to build that strength off the ground. I'm sure my trainer will have me doing them on Thursday, but, you're inspiring me to squeeze some in tomorrow as well

Good squats man. I thought they looked good. Tough reps, but good reps
Good call on the deficit deads, they are something I have never tried but plan to soonMy new bulking log. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146899443&p=926377483#post926377483

Everything looks good man! Deadlifts look great too. Got your whole body working in one fluid motion rather than in pieces like before. Haven't been to the gym cuz of my vacation and watching those squats really got me going!

Thanks Andrew! Yeah I definitely agree - one more week should do the trick. Next VD I'll repeat 265, then I'll move onto 270lbs on the squats.
And yeah - deficit DLs were GREAT for really enforcing the concept of leg drive into my head. Your Defict Deadlifts are probably like 10x the weight I'm using tho lol.
Thanks Opeth! Tough, but they felt AWESOME! Letme know what you think of the deficit deadlifts when you implement them into your routine!
Thanks Jugz! Yeah - she looks like she's ready to kick some ass lol...in a sexy way.
Not too sure why 215 felt so heavy to be honest. It wasn't unbearably heavy, just felt like it would be too heavy to allow solid progression on my ID.
Thanks Michael! Yours have as well! You really maintained your strength on your break.
Lol...thanks Juicy!! - THE PEER PRESSURE!!!! Lol I'll see how the squats feel on VD, if they feel too easy I'll bump them now, if they still feel like they'd allow progression I'll keep them there for one more VD.
Thanks Pyaarawala! I appreciate the compliment and I agree - my deads were a mess before lol.
Yeah when I'm away from the gym I get anxious to go back too! I know that feelbro lol!
Thanks Ginja! Yeah after seeing the insane strength that so many people have gained from TM in their logs I figured its worth it to run it properly lol.
Lol Thanks Mike!
AGAIN WITH THE PEER PRESSURE!
We'll see how the weights feel on my next VD.My log

Intensity Day
Quick Note: Recovery day was just there...I didn't get a chance to upload it but it was kind of funny cuz the gym I went to didn't have a squat rack cuz its under construction, so I decided to powerclean some weight off of the bar for the bench press and do front squats to OHP for recovery day - everyone at the gym looked at me like I was a crazy person. I don't think they ever saw power cleans or front squats before in their life. lol.
Squats
305x1x5
Honestly these didn't feel too hard. Rep 4 and 5 were a bit questionable, but I really think it was just because I psyched myself out with the weight. After I got done with the set and racked it I realized that it really didn't feel that heavy; like if I needed to I could do another set of them with better form.
Bench
235x1x5
These weren't that bad, but I'm going to begin microloading the BP and OHP I think. In the vid below the weight looks much heavier than it actually was because I wasn't far enough forward so the bar kept hitting the safety things for the BP and throwing me off
DL
340x1x5
Form looks pretty good to me. I need to stop taking so long between reps though. I'll work on that next session.
OHP
140x1x5
I'll go up to 142.5 which I think may be a PR.
Incline BP
185x3x5
I did these with a closer grip than I normally would. I used a grip where my hands were thumbs length from the smooth part of the bar. Normally I'd align my hands so that my pinky is set right before the ring on the bar.
Chin-ups
35lbsx1x7
35lbsx2x6

Great form on those vids Musid --- you're looking really strong on those squats and the deads. I didn't think reps 4 or 5 looked bad at all so repping 315 with good form is happening soon, especially now that you're eating back at maintenance. The deadlift form looked excellent to me. I'm really jealous now

Good workout man! Squats looked great! I agree with you on the deads and taking long breaks between sets. I usually drop the bar, take a second to regrip, and pull again. Strong form though! And bench press looked good, sucks that you kept hitting the pins though. Last rep was brutal, but I am sure if the pins weren't messing you up it would have been no big deal.

damn 235x5 looked smooth as hell.
You think you'll be stickin with TM for a lot longer?"I've walked across the surface of the sun, seen events so tiny and so fast that they hardly can be said to have occurred at all. But you, Adrian...are just a man. And the world's smartest man poses no greater threat to me than does its smartest termite."
